"Just a one night stop on the way home to UK. What a really beautiful place to stay. A friendly welcome, wonderful rural area. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely food for both dinner and breakfast. Would love to stay again. Maybe just a little too far from the city with not particularly good public transport close by ? However, if you are happy to drive into the Park & Ride it is a great place to stay. "

Chateau de Noirieux

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (15)
"This is a very stylish hotel in every respect. A beautiful building has been sympathetically converted into a small luxury hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the extras such as towelling dressing gowns and lovely soaps shampoos moisturiser etc. Dinner was the bistro menu and we could not have asked for a more delicious small menu, beautifully prepared and presented. Breakfast was outstanding too, including homemade jams and the best scrambled eggs I can remember! Our
dogs
were made welcome...

Loire & Sens

4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (265)
"Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful."
