"I highly recommend staying at Imperial House while visiting Plitvice National Park. The room was comfortable. They have a spacious, covered back patio with different seating areas for socializing that looks out on a nice garden and a field behind the property. Their breakfast was amazing, beautifully presented, and extensive. "

"20 minute hidden hike from the hotel to an overlook of the plitvice lakes and waterfall giving you a different view you dont see in the plitvice park. "

"Staff were lovely. All inclusive was great. Had a great stay. A few small areas need improvement: air con wouldn’t cool, heated towel racks don’t work, grounds overgrown - need gardener to mow lawn areas, no lighting after dark when leaving restaurant. Had to use mg torch on my phone to find my way back to my room. "

"1. All staff were friendly, patient with questions, and helpful. Reception staff and dining staff encountered the largest groups of visitors. At check in/checkout sorting rooms and final payment of incidentals and during meals. Staff always helpful and knowledgeable. 2. Dining options both buffet and the Waterfall restaurant were delicious. The Waterfall is most elegant, lunch menu choices included a delicate trout dish, subtly seasoned and flavorful. We ate most of our meals from the buffet. Breakfast included homemade tasty mildly spicy sausages. My husband doesn’t usually eat sausage but he devoured these little gems as did I. Evening meals included an array of meats and fish, vegetables, salads, and desserts. All nicely prepared, presented, and replenished. We spent 3 days and 2 nights so had an opportunity to sample a variety of dishes. 3. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable temperature. 4. The fitness room is well equipped and the Finnish sauna was a nice topoff after walking the lakes. 5. One small quibble…the whirlpool features of jetted water and heated water were unavailable. One could dally in the cool water after time in the water after time in the sauna, which we did. 6. I’m glad we stayed here. I highly recommend this hotel. It provided the amenities we desired. Thank you. 7. One last item…proximity to the park entrance #2 is a short 2-3 minute walk. Also the hotel provides complimentary rides to entrance #1 & 2 other local eateries. "
