Favorite Vacation of all time!

This vacation stay was our families all time favorite vacation. The house was beyond perfect and the location could not have been better. The ships go right by along the shore line and it is just an amazing view! We were sad to have to leave to go home. Our hosts were amazing, thank you so much! We will be back!

Like a slice of Heaven!

This is our second stay at Birch Point and again it was amazing! The house is beautiful, the views are better yet! They have everything you could need in the house and is well organized!! You can’t beat this place!! We will be going back!!

Snowmobile Weekend

The cabin is amazing and fit our crew perfectly, we had a blast there! The snowmobile trailer parking was very tricky (we have large trailers), but the host was present when we arrived and helped us find solutions. It all worked out. I would love to stay there again in the future.

UP getaway

Perfect location! Not super touristy. Close enough to enjoy close attractions like Sault Ste. Marie, the Soo locks, Valley view museum, Pictures Rocks, Mackinac Island.

We Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay

Words cannot describe the exceptional house, setting and location. We arrived to a beautiful, exceptionally well cared for home. The views from the house were breath taking and we enjoyed watching the waves of Lake Superior and freighters entering the bay and river. The hot tub was icing on the cake.

Fall Getaway

The house, it’s location and scenery were out of this world. We couldn’t have made a better choice. We wanted a quiet place to relax and unwind and we found it!! And anyone wanting water activities, hiking and exploring would not go wrong with this location.

A Lovely Home.....

This home will exceed your expectations – pictures do not do it justice. The house was beautiful and fully stocked with all the creature comforts we needed during our stay. The upstairs bedroom was the perfect place to relax, read and watch the freighters. We will definitely be back!

Property was better than the pics shown. Lovely rock beach. Clean and comfy. Brigid was managing the property and checked in with us several times, providing advice when asked for and even loaning is backpacks since we planned poorly and left them at home! Would stay again.

Great Christmas getaway

We woke up Christmas morning here. It was perfect. They even went above and beyond and set up a Christmas tree for us. The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed plus some! The fire place was perfect to make it warm and cozy! The beds were even super comfortable. We loved this house so much talks of a summer trip are in the works. Highly recommend this house. Super close to Brimley and even Sault St. Marie. This house has everything top of the line. We definitely enjoyed of Christmas here, and made memories together.

Best Place on Lake Superior

Excellent views of the ships, we never got tired of watching them. We were comfortable on the deck or near the campfire. The hot tub was so relaxing and you could also see the freighters from here. There was plenty of firewood and fans in every bedroom. The beds were divine and we all slept so well. The kitchen was very well stocked. We went to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point and into the Soo a couple of days. We would definitely come back over and over. The restaurants were delish and Superior Pizza was the best pizza we have ever had in the Upper!

A most incredible week

Our large family of 9 had the time of our lives in this beautiful home right on the lake. The pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. The house is very spacious, beautifully decorated, modern, and right on the water. The price is unbeatable and if you’re looking for a getaway house on Lake Superior, you’ve found it! Cannot recommend it enough.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

We had an amazing time! This home exceeded our expectations both with size, location, and amenities. Having a master suite downstairs was super helpful for our older parents. The great room was so large, everyone had room to spread out. We went for walks everyday along The shore and met nice people. Everything you need, this house had. Lots of just in case items and very well organized. We went to the Locs, the Falls, a local beach, did some hiking, swimming, and shopping. Most of all, we just had lots of family time.I could not recommend this house enough. It was fantastic!

Perfection

It is impossible to find the right words to accurately describe how truly magnificent this home is. When we opened the front door, we were greeted by an amazing view of Lake Superior with an added bonus of a ship passing through. Everything was perfect! We spent our time relaxing in coziness and surrounded by beauty both indoors and out. All of us enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace, but nothing compares to the sound of the waves. We loved every minute, and think we were all a little sad when it was time to go.

Great house and location!

This house was prefect for a relaxing mini-vacation for our anniversary. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen/living/dining is one open space that would lend itself very well to larger groups. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all very nice and well appointed. The kitchen was lacking a few basics like olive oil, but did have, for example, a large selection of K-Cups, and those things are hit and miss with VRBO properties anyway. We didn't use the kayaks at all, but the lake made great beach chair sitting, and the hot tub was nice on the chillier days of our stay. The view is beautiful. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to be back again soon!

Beyond great

It is difficult to describe how beautiful this home is. Cabin / lodge type feel with all of the amenities of a modern home. We had a group of 6 adults and were very comfortable. Our stay was in February during the snowy season and the home was always warm and cozy, and the hot tub was excellent. We had a few questions about the internet and Brigid came right over to help us out. Plenty of appliances to cook with, washer/dryer are new, and a lot of board games for kids and adults. Overall I rate this a 5 out of 5. Summertime must be incredible.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Our 3 generation family loves Birch Point Rendezvous! This was our 2nd year to visit and we enjoyed every moment. The house is spacious and beautiful, the views from the huge windows, deck, and yard are amazing! We enjoy watching the freighters and the beautiful lake. We took many beach walks, used the kayaks and paddle board, enjoyed the hot tub, and the gas fire pit on the deck. The little ones had fun playing with the toys provided. We spent most of our time at the house, but we did visit the Soo to visit the locks, shop, and eat whitefish. We toured a fishery and went to Iroquois Point Lighthouse. All in all it was a fantastic week and we were all very sad to leave. We hope to return!
