It’s wise to plan for a bus or taxi when you leave the tour as there will be a generous amount of rum flowing.There is also an interesting fact about the rum factory when clean, hot water from the distillery is released into the ocean, it turns the sea at Brighton Beach into a hidden hotpot so warm it could be a Jacuzzi. Generations of locals and visitors-in-the-know have come here to soak away the day in the warm water.If you’re feeling energetic, the public park at Brighton Beach has tennis and volleyball, a swimming pool and great running surfaces– just join in.
