Incredibly well equipped cabin! Fantastic views. We were looking for quiet and privacy and certainly got it here. The screened-in porch was wonderful for meals and just relaxing with wine after dinner. Internet was screamingly fast.
We had a great vacation yet again! Beautiful week by the water. We enjoyed swimming and fishing all day long! Looking forward to another stay next summer
This camp is the perfect size for our little family and such a beautiful, idyllic spot. We love spending time on the water, relaxing on the beach, and making day trips into town for great food and entertainment. We keep coming back and look forward to it every time!
We loved our stay at the Rumery camp on Moose Pond. We swam, kayaked, read, napped, listened to the loons & watched the bald eagles. We enjoyed browsing at Bridgton Books and had a great dinner at Stella's on the Square.
We hope to return!
This was our second stay. We love the area and this cottage is a little piece of heaven. We enjoyed swimming, boating and fishing. Very quiet and rustic camp but close to town. We hope to be back here soon.
What an amazingly beautiful and peaceful cabin! Everything and I mean everything, was perfect. Gorgeous and comfortable space. A week was not enough! We can't wait to return! Thank you again.
We stayed at the Rumery Camp for 5 days and it was a little slice of heaven. My husband and I brought our two golden retrievers who literally swam all day every day in the sandy beach right outside the cottage doors. At night we sat out on the screened in porch and listened to the loons. It was a perfect and relaxing get away!
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. The cottage was so charming and peaceful with an AMAZING sandy beachfront on Moose pond. The house was clean and cozy with a great rustic Maine feel. Location was so convenient to downtown Bridgton and a quick drive to North Conway. Would love to return and highly reccomend!
We had a relaxing time on Moose pond. Rainy most of the week but able to get some time outside kayaking and fishing on the lake. The house is a quintessential Maine camp and the property is beautiful overlooking Pleasant Mountain! Fireplace was nice and worked great (not smoky) following the owners instructions. Our pup enjoyed her initiation to SUP boarding. Thank you for a wonderful time.
My wife and 13yo daughter were looking to get away to the Main Lakes Region, wanting a simple camp/cabin with direct access to the water - the pictures online captured our attention and I can say the actual experience upon arrival was even better.
Bridgton is a great little town in the middle of a fun Maine region (easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, etc from the camp). The bedrooms worked perfectly for the three of us, the kitchen had everything we needed (plus the propane grill) to enjoy some great meals. We loved sitting on the porch to relax & read, to eat our meals. Access to the water was great, we even took the kayaks out a few times to explore Moose Pond.
Would highly recommend a stay here for a small group/family, we hope to return in the future!
We loved everything about our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer! The host was accommodating and responsive. The cabin was rustic (in the best way), clean, cozy and exactly what we needed to just unplug and disconnect. Our 18 month old loved playing in the sand and splashing in the water. Dogs loved it just as much as he did. The camp is in the perfect location so the sun hits the beach in the afternoon and shines on until sunset. When it got a little chilly at night we had a fire in the fireplace which worked well and added another bit of coziness to the trip. We were even able to take the canoe a short paddle to the park across the pond where theres a playground and trails. We hope to return next summer!
This camp is lovingly cared for and it shows. From the moment you walk inside you will be met with a home that is comfortable as it is welcoming. The large windows give you an amazing view of Moose Pond and pleasant mountain even when you're inside. I spent most of my time on the screened in porch taking in the amazing views and wildlife. Everyday numerous hummingbirds would visit the feeders hanging off the porch. We also saw a bald eagle who would frequent the pond in the late afternoons and on some days we would be fortunate to hear the loons calling. Our rescue dog had the time of his life and was so sad to leave. My husband did some catch & releasing fishing and caught small and large mouth bass, and a pickerel. This place is magical and has everything you need to unplug and recharge. It is somewhere we will never forget and are thankful to have experienced. Thank you so much.
Another great week at Rumery cottage - kayaking, swimming, floating, reading, napping - we couldn't have been more relaxed. The location is ideal - close to town, the supermarket, the drive-in theater. Staying-put at the camp is equally ideal - great sandy entry into the water, everything is very clean & comfy. Hope to stay again next summer.
Everything was just as described. Wonderful relaxing location with easy access to Bridgton. The house was ready to go with the necessities. What a great lake! Bald eagles, loons, and more!! Our family very much enjoyed the use of kayaks/boats, swimming in the lake, and the small beach area was perfect!
This was our 4th stay at this awesome spot. Very comfortable. The lake is amazing and we love the little beach. We had everything we needed. We want to come back every year.
Great lake cabin. Very well stocked, clean and functional. Great views and easy water access from its own beach. Cabin has a wonderful screened porch and a lovely campfire area near the water. Easy access to town for shopping and dinning. The kitchen had everything we needed for our own meal preperation, and a well kept, clean grill. Fantastic experience!!
Repeat visit, this time with our four month old daughter! As perfect as last year! Deb is awesome, super responsive and very helpful. The camp is a wonderful escape. Nice to just slow down and enjoy the gorgeous scenery - Pleasant Mountain is right there! Our daughter loved the sandy beach, playing in the pond, and hearing the loons. This is the spot on Moose Pond. We hope to return every year!
Second time staying here and cannot say enough about the location! Two bedroom cabin right on the lake with screened in porch. Had a great time unwinding and enjoying the view.
