Distinctive, secluded, hillside waterfront retreat nestled in the trees with unparalleled views of Lake Bridgeport located in Runaway Bay, TX. This 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home was built for entertaining and includes a large game room with a pool table, shuffleboard, foosball table, and poker table. The poker room can actually be used as a 5th bedroom with a sleeper sofa. Enjoy the sunrise/sunsets overlooking the lake while lounging on the deck, concrete patio or platform over the water. The upper deck extends the length of the back of the home and can be accessed from the Master Bedroom or the Living Room. The lower patio can be accessed from the Game Room or Poker Room and includes an outdoor hot tub. The main living area combines the dining area, kitchen and TV area creating one large area to gather for family and friends and has great views of the lake. The home sleeps a total of 15 with three king beds, a twin over queen bunk bed, queen sleeper sofa, 2 chair beds, 2 twin mattresses and a sleeper sofa. There are TVs available in the Living Room, Game Room and Bunk Room for you to use your favorite streaming service. Your own private boat dock is available to tie your boat or watercraft to or use for swimming and fishing. There is also a sidewalk that takes you down to the shoreline. There is also an outdoor combination grill that uses propane on one side and charcoal on the other. The charcoal side includes a smokebox for smoking meats. This home is like being on a small ranch with total privacy from your neighbors.

***Our home is on the side of a hill. There is some walking up and down to get to our lower patio and boat dock. This incline may be difficult for elderly or people with mobility issues.***

This is the third or fourth time my family has stayed at this lake house. It’s perfect for a large family gathering. Our group ranges in age from 5 to almost 80 and it’s perfect for all of them. The lake view is nice and peaceful. Kids (elementary school age to teenagers) love the game room!

The house and the view were absolutely amazing! The driveway is pretty steep, but there was enough parking for everyone. The back doors did stick, but other than that the house was absolutely perfect and my family had an amazing time! Greg and Christa were very helpful, informative, and had great communication. This home had everything we needed and back decks and view of the lake were amazing. While lake levels are definitely low my family still got plenty of fishing in by walking out to the water. Owners were very responsive to all questions and have stocked kitchen and game room for everyone’s interests!

Fabulous Family Gathering Place

This property is perfect for a large extended family get together. Plenty of room inside and out for kids to play and adults to visit. Downstairs pool table, shuffle board and other game tables are enjoyed by young and old alike! Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need! And the hosts are the best! They make you feel that they are welcoming you into their home!

Reunion Weekend

We stayed here for a college buddy reunion weekend. Six men all mid 50s. This spot was perfect! We cooked great meals in the kitchen, used the big grill, enjoyed evenings sitting out on the upper and lower decks, hit the hot tub, played pool, foosball, and shuffleboard. The only thing we didn't do that we had hoped to was play some poker at the poker table! Greg was great as an owner to work with. Place was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. If you want some seclusion, lots of things to do at the house, and beautiful lake views this is the spot for you!

Y’all!!! This place was PERFECT! We could not have found a better place to stay. We were in the area for our son’s wedding and 3 families shared this house. It had it all!!! Well equipped kitchen, 14 cup coffee maker and a Keurig!! 3, yes, 3 king size beds!! The men in our family are tall and they prefer a king size bed and this place delivered!! All of the king rooms had their own bathroom. Bunk room down stairs, games and the views were absolutely stunning! Hottub was great!! I’m telling you it had it all!! And the hosts were so very kind! The instructions and checking in were terrific! It was just amazing! Thank you for sharing this place!!! We loved it!!

Relaxing and Roomy

This was our 10th annual Hladky Hlake Trip and Bridgeport lake is one of our favorite locations. I'm thrilled to have found this gem of a house for our family to hang out in this time. While it is always challenging to find a house the checks all of the boxes for our family, this one has come pretty close. A big priority for us is sleeping arrangements. Each bedroom has ample sleeping with a king size bed in almost all of the rooms. Yay! My adult sons are avid boardgame players so the game room areas downstairs were a huge win and the lakeview was amazing as well. My daughter in laws love to float in the lake and visit. Unfortunately the lake was about 9 feet below average so we didn't do much floating off of the dock this time. Thank goodness for the hot tub right off the back porch with a beautiful lake view. The public boat dock was just a short distance from the house. We were able to secure our boat on the dock throughout the day instead of trailering the boat daily. The owners were great about communicating with us. Quite an enjoyable stay. Looking forward to staying here again!
