"Apart for the renovations taking place and the power outage (due to a serious storm), our stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views outstanding, and the breakfast was the best I've had in years!"
Beautiful waterfront cabin; breathtaking views of Whiteface Mountain
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin and the property were lovely. Our only complaints were that the bathroom hinges need oiling and squeaked every time someone got up in the night to use it and it was a bit inconvenient to use the portable two burner stove. But other than those two minor issues, everything worked out well and we had a fabulous time."
"When I booked the place, have was not mentioned that Bathrooms and showers are shared, but for 1,2 days is ok.
On other side was very clean, room perfect size with fridge,AC,water.
And in living room downstairs was great coffee and tea and milk and games, books.
Lovded my stay for money and what has to offer for short trip.
Thank you."
"Updated and nice property that was close to everything. The room was updated, the grab and go breakfast was nice and I liked the filtered water bottle filler. The pool looked clean but too cold for my family at the time we went. The microwave and mininfridge were great too. Only drawback was the walls seemed thin, we were on the 2nd floor and anytime someone walked by you could feel and hear it and we could hear our neighbors. One had a dog that whimpered at 6am each morning but overall it a comfortable place to stay."
"I had mixed feelings about my visit to saranac lake but the hotel stay was wonderful. The towels were soft and plushy, linens were comfortable and so was the bed but the pillows could use a refresh. We stayed in a family suite and it definitely had more cabin vibes than hotel/inn. I enjoyed this property so the things I’m mentioning are just to put them out there, they are not complaints by any means. It can be quite loud in the suites- every shower my neighbors took sounded like we were in there and the walls are very thin so even a lot of normal level conversation carried over. If you are very sensitive to sounds and noise keep that in mind and pack earplugs.
They had the coolest amenities of anywhere I’ve ever stayed! We didn’t use them but they had 2 e-bikes to loan out. There were also 3 kayaks plus a child’s kayak. I borrowed one to use on the lake and it was wonderful. They are in walking distance of a lot of the town area and definitely biking distance for the rest. I would return here! There is so much of the surrounding area I’d like to see!"
"Owner is great to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Cabin is rustic and comfortable. Easily accommodated our group of 5. Very quiet and relaxing. Close to hiking trails and an easy kayak launch was just a couple minutes away at the park. Reasonable distance with a scenic to the the Wild Center. Looking forward to a return visit."
