"The girl who welcomed us was lovely and v. Helpful. The room was clean and adequate. The exterior was in need of a repaint and the front looked nothing like this photo. The breakfast area was OK and food fresh but Mr, and Mrs. grumpy were NOT so cheerful and had a couldn’t care less attitude. "The room had been renovated beautifully. Fully rewired with usb charging points and a plethora of lighting options. The bed was very comfortable with a bolster, two pillows and a decorative cushion per person, the most pillows we've ever encountered in France! "There was a hurricane this day, not VVF's fault indeed. Quite a few things might have gone better though : We arrived at 4:15pm and the reception was supposed to be closed. Fortunately, someone (friendly) was there to help. However, the room was not ready until after 5pm.
