"the Lucas family were very very good hosts, the apartment was also excellent. our only concern when we arrived was that the property was in close proximity to the road, but after about 8pm, the traffic quietened down. Kamp Bornhofen is a pretty village on the banks of the river Rhein, and is very central to exploring both the Rhein and Moselle valleys, with Cochem, Koblenz, and Rudesheim, all within easy reach."

"After an awkward initial conversation with my host caused by poor communication through hotels.com, and me arriving at a slightly inconvenient time, everything worked out fine. The apartment is a little dated but has everything you need. There is no parking on site but on street parking is available nearby (up the hill!) and very well connected by frequent buses into the centre of the beautiful old town.
