"Nice older B&B located in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was nice & we had a good breakfast. The AC worked well which is important! Property is about 100 years old and it is showing its age. We will likely stay here again."

"Such a cute place! We weren’t sure what to expect, however, were pleasantly surprised! So many nice little touches and the owner, Karl, was so nice! It was so neat to see how the hotel had been renovated and we enjoyed exploring the original building for comparison. We played games on the picnic tables in the courtyard and enjoyed the refreshments in the breakfast room. Our room was spotless and felt fresh and clean. Great location. Very happy!"

"We had an excellent experience at the adorable Barby Haus. The layout of two cozy decorated bedrooms, two baths was perfect, allowing for privacy for three adults. All amenities provided. Convenient between Brenham and Bellville for visiting our friends, sightseeing and shopping. Walked over to the Kenney Store for great music and food. We enjoyed peaceful morning coffee on the porch to start the day and the late afternoon sunset breeze listening and watching a variety of birds and enjoying a yard full of cottage flowers. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend."

"Older property, but generally kept up. Room was clean. Shower was excellent. Wifi was too slow to work. The TV was set at the wrong aspect tatio, so the top and bottom of the image was cut off. But overall, was fine. "
