Located right at the top under the roof, with a cosy 36 m² of living space, a new small kitchen, and an elegant shower with plenty of sloping walls, lots of wood, and abundant light from skylights and windows all around, Willi Ohler’s former painting studio, freshly renovated and stylishly designed in late 2016, a fantastic view from the Weyerberg of Bremen and the surrounding area. High ceilings, exposed oak beams, and sloped walls still provide artistic inspiration. Designed for two guests (max. 3) who truly want to enjoy a memorable stay here. The new, beautiful, and dynamically designed spiral staircase leading to the studio’s entrance rises high; it is not recommended for guests with limited mobility.

High atop the Weyerberg, Willi Ohler—ceramist, painter, and close companion of Bernhard Hoetger—finally realised his dream. Standing alone in the forest yet right in the heart of Worpswede is the Willi Ohler House with the adjacent Worpswede Pottery. Built in the Hoetger style, the complex has always enchanted visitors and residents alike with its special charm and a breathtaking view across the Hammen lowlands all the way to Bremen.



Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out from 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
