Location is key

Perfect location next to the main railway station. Rather easy to get on trams or walk into the old town and nearby sights.

Great location, lovely room. Very quiet even though hotel was very busy. Across the road from train station, walkable to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was varied and plenty of food available. Staff blessed up quickly and recessed food quickly. Was pleasantly surprised for the price we paid.

Convenient location

Hotel is in a very good location. Walking distance to all sights. Great breakfast. Room a little dated but comfortable. Smell of cigarette smoke in parts which seemed strange in a non-smoking property.

The Good and bag

First good points. The staff were very friendly and efficient at check-in. Breakfast was excellent and very nice surroundings. The location is fantastic for the train station. The not so good. The room I was in, a single room 510 was dated, there was a mini bar that was switched off for eco reasons. During my two night stay in my room was not serviced. The air-conditioning was effective but noisy and seem to have an intermittent fault that made it rattle intermittently. The area around the hotel seems to attract some of the less desirable elements of society. Overall it was okay, I did get feedback to the hotel and received the standard cut and paste response, “thanks for letting us know it will help us to improve”, but they didn’t address any of the points that I made. The opportunity to visit the pool. With I stay there again, possibly due to its proximity to the Bahnhofsplatz and the city trams.

Wonderful feedback

Overall my experience from this Best Western hotel zur Post was wonderful, staffs were kind, listened, and provided excellent service, Breakfast was wonderful and staffs at the restaurant were great and helpful and even pack breakfast to go 5:30am which was extraordinary work! I do recommend to others strongly. If I visit Bremen again, I will stay in the hotel 100% for sure:))

Worst stay ever.....

I'm a frequent traveller and knows what to expect, but the impression from my stay at this hotel is very poor. The hotel is worn out and have seen much better days - Lots of noice from street (I had to request another room as I felt I was sleeping next to a highway) and the walls to the adjacent rooms are paper-thin, so you can literally co-listen to a conversation the person next door has and - even worse - you can hear people snore. Isn't that just great....! Breakfast is basic and simply not the standard you expect from a German Hotel that market themselves as a 4*** hotel. Now the worst part is yet to come - the area (Hauptbahnhof) is infested with homeless people, crack addicts and criminal types of persons. I had my car robbed and windows smashed (obviously the hotel cannot be held responsible, but as they had no space in their very small parking cellar, I had no other options than to select a public parking space just nearby) In summary - I will never ever choose this hotel again and as a courtesy to fellow-travellers I suggest you look for something else when planning your next trip to Bremen.

The queen room was much larger than expected. The bathroom was large, modern and very clean. There was a towel warmer, which seems standard in Europe. The breakfast was the absolute best I've ever experienced, and was shocked by the quqntity and variations. There would be no excuse for even the pickiest eaters, not to leave full. The carpet was a little outdated, but was clean. The location was across from the central train station and walking distance to downtown with plenty of shops, cafes, and eateries along the way. We were very pleased with our stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig. Einerseits direkt am Bahnhof - somit auch nah an wunderbaren Bürgerpark, andererseits auch nah an der Fußgängerzone in der Innenstadt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind angemessen groß und gut ausgestattet. Gerne werde ich wieder kommen, wenn ich mal wieder in Bremen bin.

As sad as it is ... but Bremen Hauptbahnhof area became an unpleasent place the last years. Don't come by car as it is almost impossible to find a safe place here for overnight parking. (Take a look at the reviews of the surrounding parking facilities.) There is nothing to complain about the hotel itself.

Vi havde bestilt deluxe dobbelt værelse med dobbelt seng og byudsigt - først fik vi et gammelt hummer, som slet ikke lignede billederne fra hotellet. Da vi klagede over dette, fik vi et nyt pænt værelse med dobbeltseng, men med udsigt til baggården - alt optaget. Det var ikke ok. Ingen friske boller og ingen brød til morgenmad - ikke prisen værd. God beliggenhed. Gratis parkering under 500 m fra hotellet.

Dejligt centralt beliggende hotel

Fint hotel med store og gode værelser. Rigtig god beliggenhed tæt på Altstadt. Udmærket morgenmad. Utroligt hjælpsom personale. Eneste minus var kæmpestore hovedpuder. Men alt i alt rigtig meget for pengene, og kan absolut anbefales
