Lovely B&B just outside centre of Brecon. It is a lovely period building, large rooms with
It's difficult to comment on full facilities as the B&B was only just coming out of the Covid-19 lockdown, so service was limited. However the owners did their best to work within the government guidelines. Even though the full breakfast in restaurant was off they did deliver breakfast rolls to room in the morning, they were lovely (filter coffee was amazing too)!
The place was immaculate! service was lovely. great place to consider if you are looking to visit the area.
Large free parking area to rear of building is a great asset. This wasnt clearly advertised when I booked, but its definitely worth mentioning, as parking can sometimes be an issue with other B&Bs. its a good selling point.
The beacons guest house is a lovely hotel run by a family. It was perfect for our weekend away in the brecon beacons and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was delightful!!
The charming young couple who run this guest house have made tremendous efforts to restore this run-down but beautiful building and although there are still things to put right, they are to be commended for their efforts so far. The bed was super-comfy, the food and service were faultless and I hope to return to see what other things they have done to make it better. Lovely place in a lovely town.
Dichtbij de wandelpaden in de Brecon Beacons. Fantastisch gegeten in Bank bar & kitchen, dit is zeker een aanrader als je in Beacons guest house verblijft !

Reasonable price, very good location, nice room, good breakfast
I chose to go to the Beacons fairly last minute and was extremely fortunate to find an available room over the Easter break (perhaps easier as a solo traveller in a single room?). My hosts could not do enough. I was welcomed warmly, given information freely, the breakfasts were excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone to stay. They were fully booked unsurprisingly, everyone appeared really happy with their stay. It is near to the centre of Brecon a lovely place with plentiful amenities. Yes, the pipework was a little noisy when using the hot tap, that was the only thing I could say as a 'criticism' as such. Did it affect my stay? Not in the least! The water was still hot, the shower perfect after some hard day's climbing and walking. I would 100% return. Thank you for having me :)
