"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Has a lovely one night stay in the Coach house just across from the hotel.The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, we booked a premium twin and it was actually 2 double beds which was great..very comfy too.Only slight negative comment would be that the decor was dated ,needs a freshen up, but it was warm and comfortable. Llechwen hall is a popular wedding venue and even though we stayed on a Sunday it was busy. Saying that we were seen quickly at reception ,no delays checking in.The surrounding gardens and views are beautiful and we enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. Will definitely return."
