"We spent a lovely night at the B and B.
Everything was perfect and they even left a G and T and beer in the fridge for us to enjoy and fresh milk in a jug.
The beds were extremely comfortable and the water piping hot.
The breakfast in the morning was lovely and our hosts could not have been more welcoming
We will return again"

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Really clean property which is decorated simply but beautifully. Really helpful / friendly staff. Hotel offers breakfast but we didn’t get it so can’t comment on that. There’s no restaurant or bar so I’d just remember to bring your own food or there’s one pub with simple options opposite."
"Room was large, en suite, very clean, shower hot and with a strong flow. Bed very comfortable. TV a good size. Tea/Coffee facilities in room, along with a hair dryer, spare blanket (if needed) and clean towels. Room was airy, even on the hot day. Since it was a hot spell, the thick curtains were drawn in our room to keep the room cool, which was a nice welcomed touch. Small fan/heater in the room was quite effective in keeping the room cooler if needed. Pub itself had evening meals and a selection of beers, ciders and lagers etc. The meals were excellent, both the evening and breakfast meals. Breakfast was plentifull, with cereals, yoghurts, welsh cakes, toaster/toast, tea, coffee etc. Coupled with a choice of cooked breakfast meals on top, you were set up well and trully for your day ahead. I think the last evening meal orders were 830pm and breakfast times were between 8am to 9am. Arrival time is 4pm or later and vacation time is 1030am.
Entrance to the rooms were via an adjacent but separate door from the bar entrance (a well thought out arrangement). Small parking area at front and rear. The pub is set in between 2 roads, but speed limits keep most traffic calm and we didnt find this an issue at all regarding sleeping/noise etc. Nice sitting areas out the front and back. Owners happened to be away that time, but their daughter and support staff were superb and couldn't do enough for us and others. We stayed one night and wouldn't hesitate to return here. Highly recommend."
"I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in Britain, but I did miss having somewhere cold to put drinks / supplies, arriving on a hot summer evening. Food for thought. That said, this is high quality accommodation."
"A beautiful property in a wonderful setting. A bit more attention to detail on cleanliness needed in the bedroom and bathroom. Food not up to the standard of the prices charged. Breakfast below par"
"Lovely 2 night stay! Stayed in privilege room very nice and clean. Restaurant and bar very nice and relaxed ! Food was very good standard and staff were polite and friendly"
