Property is very nice, though quite dated. Beautiful big windows with great views of the ocean, but the room needed a fan or AC, it got very stuffy with no fan for the restroom even. Bed was quite saggy, and needed new pillows. Room was nice and clean though
The property is a little dated. No elevator. Great beach view. Very good restaurant and bar. Wide selection of food styles. Great breakfast.
Small bathroom.
It’s a great hotel in a beautiful setting. Tremendous staff and food options.

Small room, but all we needed. Newly decorated and comfortable, sea visable from the window.
Bar and restaurant attached next-door, accessible via the hotel, perfect when raining.
Staff all very friendly.
Staff were very friendly, efficient and responsive. Our family room was large, bright and airy and nicely decorated, and the bathroom had nice ceramic tile work. Excellent location at end of the beautiful bray promenade. Too notch Indian food at the curry leaf was so good we ate there 2 of the 3 nights of our stay. Also had full Irish menu and great breakfast options.
From check in to check out, everything was wonderful. Great little town, great establishment and fantastic staff! Best cappuccino I’ve ever had as well. Dinner was good at Wilde’s and the wait staff was phenomenal!
The Strand provides a wonderful stay. Very clean and nicely appointed. Great food in the reataurant with many options. Across the street from a lovely beach.

Nicely appointed room but maintenance was spotty and towels were frayed.
