"No major complaints, just thought it was an average stay. The good: pretty setting, located within 5 min of Silver Dollar City, they did have little things in the kitchen to make it convenient if you forgot something and were cooking (ie: ziploc bags, tin foil, a few spices), there is a Dollar General within 5 minutes, pool area was nice, and laundry was VERY clean (but bring your own quarters and detergent, nothing there to buy & no change available). Poor: the ceiling fan in our room was covered in dust, everything else was clean. There is no one onsite to help you - no extra clean towels, you’ll have to wash yourself if you need more. We stayed a week, so this was inconvenient and it did cost because there is no in-room laundry. It appears as though there is someone on site to help you because there is a main office. However, if you go to the office during their limited 9 to noon hours, they’ll look at you like you have 15 heads and will simply tell you they don’t run the rentals. Nothing more. You’re on your own to figure out answers to any questions you may have. If you’ve stayed here before and know what to expect it would still just be an average stay. Nothing spectacular. Nothing absolutely terrible. 3 stars out of 5"

"Plenty of places to and eat, lots of thing to go do around the area, needs a little updating but nothing to exciting, love that you can bring in groceries and cook if you want. "

"This lodge is wonderful and spacious. Well equipped and is laid out very well. The front and back porches are wonderful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and all four bathrooms have a jetted tub. Laundry in the unit is a plus! Has nice amenities and is easily accessed from multiple directions. We had children, adults and grandparents all stay and EVERY ONE was happy with the lodge. Isolated feel with quick access to so many activities. The communications regarding this unit were answered quickly and completely. It was an amazing rental process AND stay! Highly recommend renting this unit!"

"The place was great as always but the only thing I would say is the the room temperature was set at 80 we are comfortable at 72 it took it 4 hours to get cool enough to be able to sleep and we got there around 9 pm. We really love the place."
