Overall very pleased and would stay again. Our only complaints were water pressure in showers was very low and hot water was scarce after 2 showers. Beds were very comfortable but the mattress was oddly noisy for any movement.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin . There was more than enough room and felt like we were at home. There were many attractions only minutes away each day we were there. We plan to return during summer months !
Property was perfect for what we needed. Very close to all attractions. Would recommend to provide extra blanket for both bedrooms, not just one. Would stay there again.
Only had one wash cloth in cabin for a 4 day stay. Inconvenient to get additional wash cloth. House keeping needs to be sure all things are as listed in being at cabin.
We loved our log cabin in Branson! Perfectly decorated, so comfortable and cozy. Our bed was comfortable for a good nights rest. . Kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals. Cabins were in a wooded area(with deer wandering about) only a few blocks from the “strip”. You’d never know most of the action was so close. We walked to the strip several times but know that it is a strenuous uphill walk, but we didn’t mind the walking. Most people will want to drive. The main streets through Branson are very busy most days. Loved coming back to our air conditioned cabin after a day out sightseeing.
The property needs some updates. The upstairs bed was really bad. Mattress was lumpy and sagged to the middle. I actually preferred the couch. Stairs were super noisy! You will wake up the whole cabin if you need to go downstairs at night. There was a family in the adjoining cabin with kids running around everywhere so don't expect it to be quiet. That's just luck of the draw. No bottled water and they don't supply much in the way of coffee. They supply a coffee pot was well as a Krueig but be sure to bring your own pods and Creamer unless you're okay with one packet of powdered stuff. The screened in back porch was the best part of the property in my opinion. We have stayed several places in Branson, but this property was definitely overpriced. It is business owned I stead of individually owned and I think that makes a big difference.
The cabin was beautiful, there were a few things that need some attention: toilet paper holder upstairs needs fixing, hair dryer upstairs needs attention, downstairs bathroom towel holder was broken, carpet was dirty, overall we would stay again!!
The cabin was a nice surprise. Nice and Cozy. We really liked the wilderness ambience. We also enjoyed the screened patio. Private and quite.
One thing though, the soft goods as in living room furniture and rugs need updating. It's a bit worn. Also the kitchen wares i.e pots, pans etc. When cleaning, please vacuum under the couch cushions and under the couch. We found a lot of old food and junk. And the floors needed to be mopped.
The property was fine despite a few issues. One, the streaming apps are limited (No Netflix, for instance.) Two, we did not have clean sheets in one of the bedrooms. The third issue, and the biggest, is that the door has an electronic lock. You can lock it manually, but to unlock it from the inside, all one needs to do is pull the lever down. This was very, very dangerous for my family as we were traveling with our two year old daughter who repeatedly just walked out of the cabin. Understandably, my husband and I did not enjoy our stay very much as we did not sleep well and were constantly concerned about our daughter wandering off. The listing should be updated to reflect it’s not safe for children, or the door should be changed so it will stay locked when the handle turns. The cabin is beautiful and located near popular areas, but I don’t think we’ll return.
The property we had scheduled had a new hot water heater installed improperly so it was alerting off and on, and the fridge was out and power for it needed to be cycled, and in the end had to move to alternative cabin. Original was as expected otherwise. Alternative was still good, not quite as nicely outfitted but still good. Was missing some information pages and a TV remote but mgmt was very responsive. Screen in porch had hidden hole in it that resulted in literally 5 different types of stinging bees/wasps/hornets getting into it so it wasn't usable during the day, which was too bad as the cabin was above the creek so you had nice sounds if bubbling brook. Overall, except for that and rough first day it was enjoyable
Beautiful, clean cabin. We reported a TV that wasn't working and a clogged sink. A maintenance man was there within 30 minutes and fixed the problems. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time visiting Branson and staying in the cabin unit. The check-in process was so quick and easy. The staff was very friendly during all encounters! We loved the fireplace, enclosed deck and high ceilings. The Christmas decor was a bonus! The location was great and made it very easy for us to get to the attractions and other places we wanted to visit while there. We would definitely stay with Thousand Hills again!
