We stayed in the Trucountry Suite. The bedroom was roomy with a king-sized bed, very comfortable! AC and a nice hot shower at the end of the day. Enjoyed a beer while watching a very competitive cornhole competition in the ballroom.

This hotel/bar/life of the town is awesome. The people are friendly and the rooms are great. If you're into a true small town culture then this is your spot. Plus the hotels haunted so theres that little bonus feature. I travel to Brady for business and I always try to stay at this hotel.

the facility is clean but worn, with a nice homey bar downstairs and the rooms are quirky and unique (which i like). located downtown with a restaurant right around the corner that offers guests a meal discount. great room rates. i like staying here, but. the budget room i was in (bonnie & clyde) had a very noisy ac, poor mattress, cheap linens, lots of truck traffic noise and rowdy patrons of the hotel bar underneath my window after midnight. unique to this inexpensive room is that it has a sink in the room, a commode a few steps down the hall and a shower further down the hall. i believe most other rooms are ensuite. the facility is clean but worn, nice homey bar downstairs and the rooms are quirky and unique (which i like). the facility has a certain charm and would likely be one of the places you remember when reminiscing about your trip. also note, there is no elevator.

It's a 100 year old restoration, as close as they can come to actual, with updates (in-room fridge & microwave. Some room are classic bathroom/shower-down-the-hall, others have bathroom/shower within the room. Lobby is quite nice, w/attached bar. Karaoke &food, too.

The Elvis room was great. Careful! There is no elevator in this hotel so we had to carry luggage up to the third floor. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel had that rustic charm.

I'm calling it quirky. Very cool old hotel with a great bar. Plan on taking awhile to get into a room. Best to come later when the bartender starts. Didn't see any other staff than that while there. Room did match pictures and several dining options close by. We really did appreciate the bartender the first afternoon she really did her best to take care of us.

Great historical hotel. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that Bonnie and Clyde had stayed their. We had a suite and love the vintage feel. The bar downstairs was lively but could not hear the noise from our room. We enjoyed the separate sitting area with a modest kitchen in the middle. Will stay there again given the chance. Good eating just across the street.
