The hotel was well situated for me as a lone female and wanting to see several Broadway shows. The staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. The worst part was that there was no hot water in the hotel for most of my week. They didn't announce it so it was only when I said there was no hot water in my room that I was told there was none in the whole hotel. At check out they did say they would refund the tourist tax but there is no evidence of that yet.

Front desk staff were great. Not pleased with a ‘resort fee’ for what is simply not a resort. Elevators had issues, room was not cleaned daily. Room was fine and location is nice and close to Herald Park. All told I’ll be staying somewhere different next time given the millions of options in NY
