I have never left a bad review online before, but can say with confidence - do not risk staying here. There were three major problems: 1) The construction noise was extremely loud. Before the stay Wander emailed me "While we expect your stay to still be comfortable, you may notice some noise in the mornings during regular work hours." Saying that it would be in the morning was a complete misrepresentation - from 9 AM to 6 PM they were working incredibly loudly. Christmas eve at 5 PM? Drilling. Even Christmas morning at 9 AM they were hammering. It was incredibly disruptive and clearly misrepresented by Wander. 2) The house was just not fully clean. I found a dead roach in the middle of the kids room when we arrived. They seemed to have forgotten that there was a top shelf to the dishwasher, as I found a fully moldy mallet when I opened it. There were stains on couches. And oddly, they only had hand lotion in the bathrooms, not actual soap. 3) Communication with Wander was poor. I messaged ahead of time to make sure the pool was heated. They told me it was 150 for the stay to keep it warm. I said okay - they sent me a bill which I paid. They then followed up and said actually, its 150 per day and I needed to pay more. This is on a 10,000 stay. I gave the stay two stars - one for the proximity to a great beach, half a star for the shallow pool area and half a star for well stocked beach accessories. But needless to say, I would absolutely not stay here again.
