"There is a digital check in at the property, no front desk staff. Check in is a bit confusing but be sure to check your hotel confirmation email for check out procedures (I didn't). Property is well kept and they are renovating the italian restaurant next door which will likely be up and running in the spring. Very quiet neighborhood and room and bathroom were spotless."

"Reception closes early, but staff are at your assistance by phone. I wasn't able to open the door. (Probably a mistake when programming the key... Luckily enough, another guest was able to open my door with his key... Some contact details might come in handy for future misfortunes like this. "Hotel Gruener Sand was a very nice place, very clean room, courteous staff, helpful for someone like me that speaks very little German. Dinners were delicious in the little pub, and breakfast was also delicious. Very personalized care, and the only thing that I would recommend for the room(s)m, would be a little apartment size refrigerator. We had some juice drinks that needed refrigeration.
