Wonderful. Charming. Cozy. Hard to leave. These are the words our guests use to describe us. Nestled in the forest just one exit off of Main Street, Bear Creek Log Cabin is truly a hidden gem offering the real Montana experience for those looking for the BEST of ALL worlds: Proximity to town and MSU (10 min), ski resorts (45min), close to Yellowstone and Big Sky, surrounded by nature, wildlife, unpolluted views of the milky way and shooting stars right from the comforts of the hot tub while listening to the relaxing rushing waters of the creek a few steps away. Come unwind in our luxurious cabin. Our guests often extend their stays and wish they could stay longer!

Under new ownership and completely restored, this charming 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, 1500 square foot Rocky Mountain Trapper Style Bear Creek Log Cabin was constructed 30 years ago with lodge pole pine trees harvested from this 10 acre property bordering Bear Creek & State Forest land and with a running creek known to have Brown & Rainbow Trout in the deeper pools. This charming cabin is extremely cozy, 15 minutes away from town, yet segregated enough surrounded by woods, and a stream below that rabbits and deer frequently visit! The hosts have excellent communication, very responsive, and make you feel so welcomed! The cabin itself is spacious and has a ‘zen-like’ design. We roasted marshmallows, hung out in their very clean, hot and sanitary spa. There is lots of seating space on the patio and just the right amount of amenities needed to make your stay comfortable.

This VRBO was exactly what I wanted for my family's early Christmas gathering. We loved the location, easy to get to, peaceful and quiet. The outdoor hot tub gave us an extra space to connect and relax. We loved the wood stove, although the temperature was challenging to moderate. The upstairs bedrooms became too warm necessitating the need to open the windows in order to sleep comfortably. That was fine with us as we love fresh air. Liz was an excellent host, swift with communicating and providing extra attention to detail. We have lovely memories of our time in Bozeman!

The owners were very responsive to our questions, easy to work with and simply great. The cabin leaves you feeling like you have the woods to yourself but is close enough to run to town for ice cream anytime you want. Great hiking/biking trails nearby, well stocked kitchen and a wonderful getaway.

The care and consideration that the hosts put into the accommodations and making sure their guests are comfortable is far above and beyond anything I could have expected. Cozy well equipped, authentic log cabin with all you need to have a relaxing and fun time. I will be back and would recommend to anyone.

This stay was absolutely wonderful! It was everything my mom and I were looking for when we dreamed of going to Montana. The Gearys were so hospitable and accommodating! We cannot say enough good things about them and their cabin!

This place is one of the best VRBO stays we have had yet. The cabin is located away from town just far enough for peace and quiet yet close enough to access all the local amenities. The cabin itself is rustic and beautiful. Using the wood stove as the main heating, opposed to the baseboards, reminded me of my childhood. Definitely will have this property on the short list when we visit the Bozeman area in the future. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Great weekend trip. Arrived Friday and left Tuesday morning. Property was clean and inviting. Had all the home amenities I was expecting. You can tell that owners go to great effort to make the place a great stay. 30 minutes from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort. My kids loved the hot tub. Will likely book again.

We very much enjoyed our 4 day quiet getaway! The house was absolutely adorable and perfect for our needs. We wanted something that was secluded and had a mountain feel. 2 beds and 2 bath (1 king and 2 queens) upstairs and a very well stocked kitchen to make our our food. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed every second of our stay. We say wildlife galore and easy drives into town to explore. Brian and Liz were very welcoming and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! We absolutely will stay here again!

I love that it had hills but wasn't too hilly. Perfect for sledding in the winter. Cabin supplies made doing normal cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc painless. I almost don't want to leave a good review because it'll be too popular to reserve in the future. Super cool place. *****

Cabin and hosts are top notch; We visited in the winter with a storm, 4x4 highly recommended to access the cabin in the winter. Adult family of 5 ages 50-18 all piled in the hot tub, played games with ample firewood & boy scout juice provided (Brian came over and showed us the ins and outs of the wood burning stove). Great location for day trips to Bear Canyon and Hyalite Canyon and dinners in Bozeman just a few minutes away. Clean and quaint, tasteful Christmas decorations; looking forward to coming back in the summer and cooking some ribeyes on the outdoor fire pit

I can't say enough about how wonderful this experience was. The cabin is charming and well appointed with anything and everything you need. The hot tub was wonderful and the patio was perfect for morning coffee and grilling out in the evening. Liz and Brian, the owners are gracious hosts. It was our 30th anniversary and they had left us a bouquet of flowers and a sweet note welcoming us for the weekend. This is just an amazing find. We will come again!
