Please inform us if you are bringing your dog!! Your dog is not allowed on the beds or furniture and must be kenneled if left alone in the cabin. No cats. Extra charges will apply if pets rules are not followed.

Welcome to the Gallatin River Cabin! Our cabin is conveniently located about 1/2 way between Bozeman and Big Sky.

Bozeman is a bustling little mountain college town, and our cabin provides great access to MSU and town, while offering a quieter, country setting just north of the entrance to Gallatin Canyon.

Big Sky is a skiing and snowboarding mecca, with some of the biggest skiing in North America! The surrounding areas are world re-known for outdoor activities such as fly fishing, mountain biking, big game hunting, rock climbing, and ice climbing.

The Four Corners/Gallatin Gateway area is growing fast and is conveniently situated near the mouth of Gallatin Canyon, which is the "Gateway" to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, stretching further south than Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Inside, the cabin is tastefully decorated with local art, and decor, and there is wifi access and Hulu. The kitchen is well-stocked if you enjoy cooking your own meals, and the bathroom has a stackable washer/dryer.

There is a 3 acre field to walk dogs directly across the front of the cabin. There is parking for 3 vehicles, or 1 RV.

Great base for exploring southern Montana

The cabin is very well equipped and sits in a large private, quiet garden with a short walk to the banks of the Gallatin River. Our host was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed exploring Bozeman and the spectacular scenery all around.

We absolutely loved enjoying coffee, mimosas, and margaritas next to the river. The sound of the river and the bird watching was just we needed. The cabin was fully stocked, clean, and in a good location. The host was great with responses and recommendations. We hope to visoit again this summer.

Great location, great cabin!

Perfect location, close enough to town that it was easy to pick something up but far enough outside of town that you weren't in the middle of all the traffic/people. Short drive to skiing! Great place to stay! Would like to come back in the summer and fish in the river behind the property

30th Anniversary Trip

Lovely stay beautiful town and the scenery, speechless! We brought our Harleys and the owner gave us a recommendation for a day ride and it was amazing! The property was great, no negative things to say. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will come back some day! Thank you!

River Getaway in the fall

We were pleased with this cabin from the moment we drove up. It was just what we needed for our time in Bozeman. My husband loved that he could walk to the river and fish. He met one of the owners and enjoyed his visit with him. We liked being away from downtown. The interior is immaculate and adorably decorated. The kitchen is well stocked for making meals. We hope this cute cabin will be available when we visit Bozeman next time. Thank you so much!

Lovely cabin outside of Bozeman

This adorable cabin is set in a beautiful location, just a short and beautiful walk away from the Gallatin River. 'Was absolutely perfect for our family of 3 but might be a little tight for more, especially if you like to watch movies together at night. But it has a gorgeous patio, lawn and nice hang out area by the river where we played board games as the sun set. Would definitely return to this location again. Next time I would bring coffee to brew in the drip coffee maker. Although, we enjoyed the excuse to get coffee at the nearby "Coffee Pot," Bakery and Pottery Shop. All and all a great stay!

Expectations surpassed!

This property was even better than what we had expected from the photos and reviews. Frankly, our lofty expectations were surpassed! We stayed 7 nights, but wished we had stayed another week 1. The location was exactly what we wanted. Close enough to run into Bozeman but far enough away for a more rural feel. It was convenient for driving to Yellowstone which we did twice or taking advantage of the hiking trails along the Gallatin corridor. 2. The cabin itself was perfect. Impeccably furnished/decorated and tastefully equipped. It felt much larger than what we had expected. Having a washer/dryer was a bonus. There were plenty of washing machine or dishwasher pods, etc plus lots of spices, mustard, etc in the pantry. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were first class. Tons of towels and extra pillows and bedding. 3. The property is very large and gorgeous, with paths cut through wooded areas near the river. There are many different choices of seating in or around the pavilion. If you’re lucky, you will meet the owner and his beautiful black lab named Scout. Be prepared to throw a stick as far and as often as you can muster. Scout actually smiles! There were thousands of fresh raspberries that we could pick as well as pretty landscaping, both manicured and wild plus splendid views of the distant mountains. For us, this place had it all!

The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. Beds were nice and comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The back patio had multiple seating options and was a great place to relax. The location was great (generally central to everything we did in and around Bozeman). We will definitely plan to stay at this location again if/when we make it back up to Montana.
