Perfect for couples or small families, this cozy retreat sleeps four and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. As always, this sweet little house is the perfect stay for fishing tournaments. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Simply Sailing and the fifth time booking with Tim & Shannon. They are fantastic hosts, super friendly, very accommodating. And their homes are always so clean and cozy.

Tim and Shannon are amazing hosts with an equally amazing property.

We've stayed here several times now. It's pretty much our favorite place to stay on that end of the lake. The proximity to the boat ramp, the property itself, and the other boating related amenities make this an amazing place to stay.

Perfect getaway location

Me my wife and 1 year old daughter absolutely loved our stay here. We were in the perfect location to hit Nashville for a day, side by sides another, Mammoth cave, and not even enough time to hit the local fishing. Tucked into the woods was an ideal spot for our getaway while being near so many awesome spots. Being from Michigan and enjoying the local Kentucky countryside was a definite plus. Even happened to run into the owners and they were super nice and accommodating. Would 100% recommend this location to anyone looking for a fun getaway. Although we didn't spend much daylight at our place, the porch and sun room elevated our stay that much more. Was sad to leave.

Amazing Cabin & Bring along your Small Boat!

We LOVED our stay at this little cabin near Barren River lake! Super clean & inviting, comfy bed, great shower & everything we needed - we esp loved eating out on the sun porch! The best part? SO convenient traveling with our 15’ deck boat. Easy pull through & enough cover for our Wrangler & boat trailer! Thank goodness bc a huge storm came through! Also - literally only 2 minutes from the Port Oliver boat launch. Amazing & made our drops into the 💦 so easy! It was our first time to this lake & we will definitely be back - met so many kind locals! We even caught the annual poker run which was perfect for exploring the lake, coves & marinas! This stay was 5 stars all the way! Thanks for the booking!
