"Rooms are immaculate, beautiful, cool vibe. I don’t like how EVERYTHING is an additional fee. There is no mini fridge in the room, just a beverage fridge to hold their mini bar items. It says you can request a mini fridge - but they charge you $25. To use the fire pits it’s $100. For $650/night not during prime season, these items shouldn’t be extra. Also, the dj on the weekends is very loud- trying to be a Vegas pool party. Easy walk to old town shopping, bars and restaurants. If I’m spending that much a night I really don’t want to be nickel and dimed. "

"Probably the worst choice I ever made on hotels.com. The check in process is convoluted. The host/agent (Vince) had to "check with his IT department" just to unfreeze the glitch in their check in process system. He refuses to even talk on the phone, and he ran me through endless text messages and "screen shots" just to engage in the overly burdensome "pre-Check in" process. The picture doesn't at all match the unit I was put in. If you make the foolish decision to book here, shut off the water inflow valve to the toilet after use so you can get some sleep at night with a leaky toilet to deal with."

"A little dated and could use some minor updates and/or maintenance (paint chipped around door frame and a stain on bathroom floor). But perfectly adequate for a reasonably-priced stay in Scottsdale with free parking. And, for Cactus League baseball, it is a short walk. Starbucks is right next door and dining options are nearby."

"Had a pleasant stay at The Fairfield Inn in Scottsdale. Good location with easy access to Oldetown and Scottsdale Stadium for baseball spring training. Hotel was clean and comfortable. The gym was good for working out. The morning breakfast was good. I would stay here again on any future trips to the area."

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The room was absolutely disgusting and we had to check out early. I had the manager walk the room and they agreed because of condition. I am working with Hotels.com to get a refund. I saw the reviews were somewhat low, but I’ve never seen anything like it. The drains were completely clogged with hair and would not drain at all so we could not take showers or even wash our hands. There was mold in many different places in the room, the sheets are dirty, the chair was dirty, the floors were disgusting. There is a car wash next-door that blast music starting at 7 AM so you will wake up to that. I got management and had them walk-through the room and they said they were having problems with the cleaners ??? but they rented it to me anyways ??? thought I could save a little bit of money and be close to old town and it was a big mistake. Do not stay here, I should’ve turned around and walked away when I was checking in when I saw that the front desk person sleeps in a bed behind the front desk and there is a basic washer/dryer that they are doing the laundry in so it’s not getting clean or sanitized. My bad, we were in a hurry, unloaded our luggage and went to a concert. I am not picky, as I hunt and stay in a lot of different motels and hotels, but this was beyond anything I’ve ever seen. "
