LUXURY SELF-CATERING COTTAGE. THE COTTAGE

The Cottage was converted from the original range in the 1940’s to provide a house for the estate workers. This has now been fully refurbished giving it a new open plan living area in a contemporary design.

The entrance hall leads through to a very comfortable open plan sitting room, with a large relaxing sofa encircling a Charnwood wood burning stove and a dining area with a family dining table. There is also a Smart TV, Blu-Ray player, Wi-Fi and books and magazines provided for your enjoyment. The well-equipped kitchen, with its granite worktops, is a very pleasant environment in which to prepare the perfect holiday meal. From the kitchen is the entrance to a patio with Kettler dining table and chairs for your al fresco meal, a glass of wine or morning coffee.

The master bedroom, with exposed beams and chandelier, has a super-king bed, and to give added luxury there is an adjacent dressing room beautifully appointed with full length mirror, dresing table, 2 arm chairs and foot stool. The impressive fully tiled bathroom has a basin, bath, shower and separate toilet - there is a second cloakroom downstairs.
The Cottage is set between the inner and outer courtyard ensuring the patio is a sun trap and protected from any wind.
SLEEPS 2: Super-king bed with dressing room. All duvets and pillows are Goose and Feather Down (Hypo-allergenic bedding is also available on request). All bed linen is provided and professionally laundered. A hairdryer is provided.
BATHING: Fully tiled bathroom with bath and shower over, large basin, and separate toilet.
A second toilet is in the downstairs cloakroom.
Fluffy white towels, dressing gowns and slippers are provided. Toiletries are by Anne Semonin.
LIVING & DINING ROOMS: Large L shaped sofa. Charnwood wood burning stove, with free kindling and wood supply. Smart TV, Blu- Ray Player (also plays DVD’s and CD’s), Wi-Fi, Circular dining table to seat six. A selection of hardback, paperback books and glossy magazines are provided.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops, Neff appliances, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer. Matching De'Longhi Kettle and Toaster. Professional Cook Ware and Knives. A welcome package of basic items is provided.
OUTSIDE: Garden to rear and front of property. Kitchen leads to an outside dining area with large table and chairs. Secure, private parking and access to private parkland.
PETS: Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome, but no puppies under 12 months of age please. Further pets will be considered: please contact to discuss. There is a charge of £20 per pet.
