Tucked away in the lush tropical surroundings of Roatán’s peaceful East End, El Colibrí Hideaway is a private three-bedroom retreat for up to nine guests. Enjoy en suite bedrooms, jungle and distant Caribbean views, a shaded private pool, spacious outdoor living, Starlink Wi-Fi and a new 36-panel solar power system.

Enter through beautiful French doors into the spacious, open-concept living room, dining area and well-stocked kitchen. Large windows and sliding glass doors fill the home with natural light while showcasing the surrounding tropical landscape and distant ocean.

The comfortable living area features a 75-inch Smart TV that can be enjoyed from throughout the great room, along with fast Starlink Wi-Fi. The open layout makes it easy for everyone to spend time together, whether cooking, dining, watching a movie or simply relaxing after a day exploring Roatán.

Solar Power & Reliable Connectivity

The home’s new 36-panel solar and battery system significantly reduces reliance on the electrical grid while providing added comfort during power outages. During most typical interruptions, the system can continue powering essential services, including Starlink Wi-Fi. Backup duration depends on household energy use and the length of the outage.

Three Comfortable En Suite Bedrooms

The private primary suite is located just off the main living area and features a king bed, expansive windows, Smart TV, air conditioning and a large en suite bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower and built-in seat.

Two additional guest bedrooms are conveniently located off the main living area. The first features a king bed, sliding glass doors, a large closet and a private en suite bathroom with shower.

The second is ideal for families or groups, offering a queen bed plus a bunk bed with a full-size lower bed and twin upper bed. It also includes a large closet and private en suite bathroom.

All three bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. A convenient half bathroom is located off the living area, and the home also includes a separate laundry room.

Outdoor Living & Private Pool

Step outside onto the large deck, accessible from the living room, kitchen and both guest bedrooms. Relax on the lounge chairs, enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table or simply take in the peaceful tropical surroundings.

The inviting private pool area provides plenty of space to spend the day outdoors, with a covered area for relaxing out of the sun, lounge chairs and a table-and-chair set perfect for poolside dining, morning coffee or evening drinks.

El Colibrí Hideaway is situated within a gated property, offering a wonderful sense of privacy surrounded by tropical vegetation. Parking is available at the top of the property, with stairs leading down to the home's entrance deck—a lovely spot to sit and overlook the gardens and pool area.

Important to Know Before Booking
Electricity & Solar Power

Electricity: With normal, energy-conscious use, guests may have very low—and sometimes no—additional electricity charges. Any electricity drawn from the local grid is billed at $0.40 USD per kWh based on meter readings taken at check-in and checkout. To conserve energy, please turn off air conditioning when leaving the property or when doors and windows are open.

Road Access: The property is generally accessible with a standard vehicle during normal weather conditions. During periods of heavy rain, the entrance road can become slippery and 4WD may be necessary.

Early Check-In & Late Checkout
We’re happy to accommodate early arrivals or late departures whenever our reservation and cleaning schedule allows. If your property is ready early, we’ll gladly let you know so you can begin enjoying your stay sooner. Guests arriving before check-in may also be able to drop off luggage while our team finishes preparing the property.
