"Overall the hotel was fine and a very unique stay but the heating was like a tap running all night and did little to heat the large room. It could have been cleaner but it did meet basic standards. No facilities to make drinks in room. The evening meal was nice as was breakfast. The views are amazing, we didn’t use the spa so can’t comment. "

"Stunning old water mill on beautiful grounds.The kitchen is really well equipped & spacious.We had a really lovely relaxing stay. Some fresh foodie bits were in the kitchen on our arrival which was really welcomed after a long drive. Lots to see & do in the area.Highly recommend."

"Absolutely brilliant holiday, Dave and Debbie were wonderful host's and so kind and helpful. The swimming pool was amazing and their Gite was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. We stayed for two weeks but wish we could have stayed for longer, there are lovely town's and village's with markets close by to visit. Five stars is not enough for such a wondedful holiday as we were made so welcome, seven stars would be our rating. We look forward to returning for our next holiday."

"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described.The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "
