Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lexington North
8/10 Good
"This hotel worked out very well for my friends and me. The room not spacious, but adequate. We found everything needed for the pull out couch within the room (nothing missing). The wifi worked fine. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The only sink is the one in the bathroom. A second sink would be a significant improvement. The breakfast was generally good, although fruit was limited. The staff were helpful. It was easy to park very close to a door. The exercise room had only one working treadmill. This was OK only because I used it at an unpopular time. Having Cracker Barrel right next door is helpful for a meal without needing to drive anywhere."
"The check in was probably the fastest I've ever had. There for Breyerfest in July. Place is clean and everything is good. Our air stopped working the middle of the 2nd to last night. Told the front desk as we were leaving that morning and she said she would either have it fixed or move us to another room, very nice lady. When we returned that evening, that girl was a tad snippy about 'she didn't know why she said she'd have it fixed because they don't come in for that over the weekend'. She did have my new room already set up and gave me that. 20 minutes later I went down to hand her the old room's keys back and as I did she said, checking out? I said no, these are the ones for the one we moved out of. Again, she was tad onry about how they have 170 rooms and deals with a lot of people all day, she can't remember everyone. I get that, but I was just standing in front of you 20 minutes ago, no need for the tude. She wasn't outright rude to the point of asking for a mgr, just wasn't as friendly as the other people that helped us throughout our stay. That being said, our issue was handled and all was good. This girl just left an icky taste where everyone else was so great!"
"The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. When we arrived and settled in our room we decide to go down stairs and try out the Japanese restaurant and to our surprise the food was great. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel. "
"Good location, helpful staff, nice bed, had a fridge and microwave. Not great breakfast, water pressure. Thin walls and body wash offered at bathroom sink instead of hand soap."
