"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We spent one wonderful night in King Room at Plum Point Lodge, and it was absolutely perfect! The room was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a full, breathtaking view of Seneca Lake. Located right in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country, it was the perfect little getaway. We enjoyed tasting local wines with dinner, and our waitress was so friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, the views were amazing, and the beautifully maintained flowers and grounds added so much charm to the property. A fun bonus was the adorable ice cream parlor right on the property—such a nice touch! Even though our stay was only one night, we left wishing we could have stayed longer. Plum Point Lodge is peaceful, charming, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything the Finger Lakes has to offer. We will definitely be back!"

"My friend and I had a good week of kicking back, enjoying the lake, and unplugging! The huge flight of steps to get to house from the parking lot would've been super inconvenient if we had small kids or lots of stuff, but the cable-car system the owners came up with to ferry things down to the house definitely helps a ton. Just be ready to take your sweet time when unpacking/packing up.It's really odd not having an internal staircase between the two floors of the house. If you're looking for a way to sequester the kids or give each family their own separate space, this place is awesome. Otherwise, the setup makes people downstairs feel very "disconnected" from those upstairs. It's not a deal-breaker, but something you wouldn't encounter at most properties (a theme for this place).The water at the house is fed directly from the lake, and while the owners make it sound as though it's technically potable, they emphasize that they don't drink it - meaning you need to bring your own, but also they have a 5 gal water cooler by the kitchen. I would've expected a property at this price point to have drinkable water on-tap.Otherwise, the owners provide a lot of toys/accessories to enjoy the house and the lake with, you won't be bored - unless you want to be!"

"What a great place to stay, well maintained, clean, beautiful lakeside view, near to wineries and restaurants, and a pleasant host to deal with, even when a fire alarm went off at 2 in the morning. Couldn't be happier with our week in the Finger Lakes."

"The property was very clean and perfectly sized for our group! I was a little disappointed that the dock was not installed for my trip due to weather, and the property manager did not let us know until 24 hr prior. Note to future travelers: bring extra toilet paper, because my group of 13 ran out! Despite small hiccups, I would stay here again!"

Bear creek cabin, peaceful escape

"The property was beautiful, the cabin was perfect for our larger group. We had plenty of space so when it rained all day Saturday we were not on top of eachother. We love the decor/rustic feeling. The back porch was beyond perfect and relaxing. The availability of bikes turned out to be perfect for the older kids who decided not to bring theirs from home. The cabin is secluded and far out enough that you truly feel like your alone on the woods and that to us was very welcomed. We did have one bigger issue throughout the trip/one small issue at check out -1. Believe we ran out of propane the last full day. The refrigerator stopped working as well as the hot water which are both ran on propane. I contacted the host but she was out of state and unable to send help. So we had to go get ice and put everything in a cooler, and the muddy children had to be wiped down with cold water and no one was able to shower for the last 18 plus hours of our trip. 2.like others have said, there are no mattress cover/protectors so the mattress in the master bedroom does have several larger old dried blood stains on it that were discovered when we stripped the beds at checkout. Other than that, the cabin was incredible and we will definitely come back!"
