Perfect property for your stay in Normandy

We were welcomed by Claudine who was the perfect host being very attentive to our needs, nothing was too much trouble. The property has been renovated to a very high specification mixing old with new very tastefully. It’s a great location to access Cany Barville, Veules des Roses, even Dieppe, Honfleur and Deauville are in reach in around an hour. We will be booking again soon such was our experience Thank you Claudine

Lovely stay

Having stayed here last year we were well aware of what to expect & were not disappointed. The gite is clean, comfortable & has just about everything you could need for a long stay such as ours. We had a minor drama when the water heater started leaking the evening before a bank holiday. Luckily my husband was able to shut the water off & then put it on with less pressure which enabled toilet flushing & access to water. Claudine was able to source a plumber for 9.45 am on the day after the bank holiday despite being away herself with her mother & daughter & a new part was fitted to everyone's relief. Great service!For anyone visiting the Leclerc in St Leonard outside Fecamp we found a fabulous all you can eat buffet for 18 per person. I have never seen such a huge choice of delicious food & it is highly recommended.The weather was generally fine & we visited lots of car boot sales which is what we love doing as it gets you up close & personal with people who don't speak your language so you have to make a real effort to communicate. We will definitely stay here if we visit this area again. Many thanks to Claudine for her prompt help with the boiler & for the delicious apple juice.

Fantastic gite

This was one of the nicest gites we have stayed in in a long while. It was modern, clean & with everything you could possibly need especially for a long stay such as ours. The photos do not really do it justice. Claudine, our host, was charming, left us to it which is our preference, but was readily available when required as she lives next door. We could have done with instructions for the microwave & the Orange box for the tv but managed to work them out. They may be standard for French visitors. The gite is a 75/90 mins drive from Dieppe. Use the D925 to St Valery en Caux & then Cany-Barville. Don't follow your satnav it will take you along roads that are only one car wide which we found to our detriment on the inward journey. There is a maze of lanes around Viquetuit which is a hamlet. When arriving do NOT take the lane signposted Gite de Sansonnette but the other one close by - if coming from Cany-Barville it will be on the left just before the turning to Gite de Sansonnette. There is a Leader Price & a decent sized Carrefour in Cany-Barville. There is a large Leclerc on the ring rd at Yvetot plus an Aldi & Lidl as. There is also a lovely, new Leclerc just outside Fecamp at Saint Leonard - highly recomended. Do not use the supermarket cafes at the Leclercs in St Valery en Caux, where we had a truly terrible meal, & the one at Yvetot which was just ok. We had a near perfect stay which would only have been improved by better weather which is under no-ones control!

Beautiful Cottage in Normandy

Claudine was the perfect host. Available if needed but in the background if not. The cottage is quite exceptional. Absolutely fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Claudine was really helpful when a medical emergency occurred giving us precise details of the nearest pharmacy and doctors practice. Really pleased all round and would definitely recommend the cottage

Ballades, villes fleuries des environs, la mer, les falaises Gîte très spacieux, très bien équipé, une chambre et une douche accessibles aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Le chien a apprécié les espaces et les animaux de la ferme. Accueil impeccable par l’hôtesse qui nous attendait….

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison est très bien organisée, pour les personnes à mobilité réduite tous est fonctionnel. La maison est agréable et au calme tout en étant proche de beaucoup de choses. Plage, monuments, commerces etc. Il y a toujours quelque chose à faire ou à voir. Claudine est également une personne agréable, très discrete et disponible. Cela nous a tellement plus que nous avons déjà réservé pour l'année prochaine.

Uriger Charme, tolle Ausstattung

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind ausreichend vorhanden. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit Gewürzen, Backpapier, Spülmittel, Toilettenpapier, Waschmittel, Grillkohle, etc.. Es sind Aussenrollos in den 3 Schlafzimmern vorhanden. Das Anwesen liegt wunderschön, einsam und ruhig, umgeben von Rindern und Pferden. Die Vermieterin wohnt im Haus dahinter. Sie ist sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem warmen Wasser, aber sie hat schnell versucht sich darum zu kümmern. Der riesengroße Garten durfte von unseren Kindern frei bespielt werden. Die Terrasse ist uneinsichtig, mit Sonnenschirm und vielen Stühlen. Wir sind von hier aus zu vielen kleinen Kustenstädtchen und kleinen Badebuchten gefahren. Es waren nur wenig Touristen, man war fast alleine an der Steilküste. Alles in allem war es ein traumhafter Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, unseren Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Ferienhaus in Bosville zu verbringen, nur 10 km vom Strand entfernt. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht, und bot eine perfekte Kombination aus Komfort und Funktionalität. Umgeben von viel Landwirtschaft, konnten wir die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Umgebung war malerisch und bot viele Möglichkeiten für entspannende Spaziergänge und Ausflüge in die Natur. Die Vermieterin war ausgesprochen freundlich und stets bemüht, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. Ihre Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft haben unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit des Hauses, das in einem tadellosen Zustand war. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus einfach perfekt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Vielen Dank Claudine für den schönen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Haus. Wir hatten 3 schöne Wochen und haben uns gut erholt. Das Ferienhaus hat alles was man braucht und ist schön und funktional eingerichtet. Es ist mitten im Grünen und sehr ruhig gelegen. Zum Strand fährt man 15-20 Minuten und zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit wie z.B. Bäcker oder Supermarkt 10 Minuten. Da Haus war sehr sauber, verfügt über schöne Bettwäsche und flauschige Handtücher. Auch an kühlen Tagen war es durch die tolle Pelletsheizung schön warm und angenehm im Haus. An wärmeren Tagen und Sonne haben wir die Terrasse und den Grill genutzt Vielen lieben Dank Claudine
