"A lovely "getaway from it all" location. Sweet little gite, a bit basic (not luxury) but had everything we needed and more, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Owner was very responsive. Village is very quiet and it's a few minutes drive to the nearest town for shops and restaurants. Not a very touristy area which we loved, but only about an hours drive to Rouen, Amiens, Monet's garden (all of which were busy)."

"A gem of a place for a birthday overnight stay. Laurent and Bruno were exceptionally warm and welcoming and our son was delighted that his bedroom had the beautiful view of the Chateau Gaillard! Seizing the moment early Sunday morning to look at the respective views whilst reading, we knew we would like to return for longer. The best breakfast on Sunday morning made it hard to leave. Thank you!!"

"Comfortable, clean hotel with great staff except the parking attendant who, on our arrival as I was unloading our cases from the car, told me I could not park in front of the hotel and must move it to the car park several metres away, which I intended to do once checked in (code is required fro reception top enter it). His aggressive nature was a poor welcome to the hotel but fortunately was in direct contrast to the very helpful and welcoming reception staff."

"Lovely location, close to Giverny and good rail connection to Paris. The gite itself was excellent, spotlessly clean, well appointed, plenty of room for two of us. The garden surrounding the fire was splendid, full of modern sculptures. But the best bit was the host Monique who went out of her way to help both practically and with useful local advice. We will be going back."
