"A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. We stayed for 10 nights so we had time to enjoy and relax. We thank Filipo and Feredica, who have been so hospitable during our stay. Lots of options for breakfast with the best cappuccino ever. "This was our first stay in this lovely cottage. Perfectly positioned for privacy and getting away from it all but only a few minutes drive from all the amenities you need. Although the cottage is in the woods you do not feel enclosed, the owners have created an oasis of peace with lovely views and a comfortable home. "The villa is kept extremely well and has nice fittings and equipment etc. However, the lack of air conditioning is a problem. It was extremely hot some nights and made sleeping pretty difficult."
