Great location and interesting layout

The apartment is close to the Porte de Bourgogne tram stop and an easy walk to Rue Sainte-Catherine. The inside in clean and spacious with a unique style.

Wonderful respite in the heart of it all

We had a delightful stay in this little getaway. It was close to everything and accessible to public transport. I can't say we spent a lot of time in it but it was lovely to come back to at the end of a busy day.

Location and design a plus, host needs more flexibility

Check in was limited to a very small window (especially for a Saturday) with little effort made to accommodate. The host insisted on meeting in person but had other units to check in so if we didn’t arrive before 5pm, we’d have to wait until 7pm. Windows needed for arrival, for person to person handoff, should be disclosed in the ad. The flat itself was gorgeous, albeit the hallway and stairway are the opposite. The remodel and lovely design stopped before they got to the bathroom. Why in the world do they not have a mirror over the sink? Even a small one would suffice. The two bedrooms were comfortable, quiet. Dishwasher front missing, therefore making it unusable. The location though, beautiful. Overall, a mixed result. I probably would not stay again.

Nice roomy apartment. Just a couple of minor issues. Large windows but no curtains (except bedrooms) so neighbours can see in. Also, apartment is in pedestrian zone - while Uber dropped off at address, they would not come into zone for pickup.

Location is great and apt is comfortable enough. Very quiet. There is a good work space. However, no info is provided on how to operate hob, oven, m/w, d/w, washing machine, heaters, and no guidance on restaurants, door key quirks, sights or transport. 2 of 4 burners on hob broken, front panel of d/w missing (unsightly, hard to open), no shelves/storage in bathroom (not a problem if short stay, but we were there for a month). Beds are large and one is comfortable; other is hard like a wooden board. Extra pillows, a blanket and set of sheets were provided. The kitchen is tiny but there are adequate pans, oven mitts, and utensils to cook simple dishes. Be careful not to leave a key in the door on the inside when you leave, as the door will shut and you will not be able to open the door - even with a key - at all. This cost us 5 hours and 90 Euro as he host lives hours away in Paris.

Escapade dans le quartier de la cloche

Emplacement parfait, grand appartement, quartier calme malgré la fête de la musique, literie excellente, équipements et ameublement de qualité. Manque juste une clim ou 4 ventilateurs et une VMC plus puissante dans la salle de bains.

Je n'étais pas revenu dans la vieille ville de Bordeaux, depuis sa rénovation urbaine de grande ampleur.Quelle réussite ! Quasi exclusivement piéton ; Très belle mise en valeur de l'enchevêtrement de places et de ruelles ; l'ensemble très animé et très vivant ; Une référence ! Appartement idéal pour une famille avec 2 enfants ou 2 couples, dans un cadre typique du centre ville ; les pièces de vie principales sont tout aussi agréables à vivre, que la vielle ville de Bordeaux !

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist ein innenarchitektonisches Meisterwerk und es hat uns während des Aufenthalts an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Lage in der Innenstadt von Bordeaux haben wir sehr genossen - alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Frau Hugot war für uns immer schnell ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder
