Great location. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset on the private dock. We also enjoyed observing the locals lives in the neighborhood. The Matira beach, restaurants and a couple of grocery stores and the boat rental/boat tour are a few minutes away. The house is very quiet and spacious but probably could use some upgrades especially the screen doors. Check in and check out process was very smooth. Louana was very helpful and responsive. We truly enjoyed our time there.

Great stay in Bora Bora

Great house in a great location was a wonderful stay for me and my wife on our 30th anniversary. Louana was a great resource for everything on the island and was very helpful with arrival and departure information. We already miss the Sunrise Villa!

Home away from home

The home was absolutely beautiful and the private pier and view were amazing!!! Louanna meet us at the house to check in and was so sweet and helpful and readily avaliable throughout our entire stay. Everything was perfect and we would absolutely stay here again!!

We stayed at the Villa from Oct 19-30. It is very charming with a great central location to get around and Louana was great to work with. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Bora Bora!

Excellent property

Overall superb property! Best bang for the buck with epic views!!! Highly recommend if you are ever in bora bora as it’s way more affordable than the water bungalo’s and the master has an epic shower/tub setup for couples.

Amazing

The location is idyllic, the house is wonderful and Louana is absolutely amazing. She’s responsive and attentive. Check in was a breeze. She even let us know what time our ferry left for the airport. Being on the water with a dock was fantastic. The view of the lush green mountains behind the villa is breathtaking.

Very large and relaxing house

We had an extremely relaxing time in this house. Kitchen is outdated for us who love cooking but we still made it work. Coming from Matira beach previously, the surrounding and water is not as attractive but you can still swim from the dock.We enjoyed the quietness and again very relaxing time for a family of 5 without feeling crowded.Very welcoming. We recommend .

Nice house on prime spot

This property is in a prime location and i am glad we discovered it. While not right in town, it is very close to the beautiful Matira Beach, with spectacular views of the mountain and the lagoon. Luanna the property manager was there to welcome us upon arrival and gave us a detail tour of the house. The master bedroom has spectacular views of the water and the sunrise and AC. it was great to be right on the water as our tours could drop us off right at the dock. The property offers 4 bikes to use around the island which made it easier to get around. We were able to snorkel right outside of the property. Loads of fish and coral all around. Made our stay on Bora Bora very special.

Location and house are great!

It's a beautiful house and the property managers are great! Location is perfect as well! The only issue we had was on the last day/night there was a party in a house located to the front of the house. There was loud music till 3 am next day from morning. We had a flight to take the next day back to the US , so my husband requested the neighbors to turn down the speaker but in vain. It was so loud we could hear it in the bedrooms. We would not have booked the place had we known this event was planned. I would definitely book the house if I visit again but I will make sure no such events are planned in the neighboorhood.

An unforgettable experience

This house is truly special. My wife and I had stayed on Taha'a (loved it!) and then spent several nights at the St. Regis in Bora Bora which of course is lovely, but then we went to the Sunrise Villa and had a true island experience. It's so different than staying on a motu in so many great ways. We loved all the amenities in the house. There was so much space to enjoy, total privacy from neighbors. We felt safe and we were absolutely blown away every morning by an epic sunset. The best part for me was looking up from the back yard and being overwhelmed by the view of Mount Otemanu. The stargazing from the dock at night is second to none. The stingrays and reef shark in the nearby coral reef made for excellent (safe) snorkeling. We loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back. You will definitely want to rent a car when you go though we did also take advantage of the bikes on the property and rode around the island one day. It turns out that was exercise so be aware :)

This place is absolutely wonderful!

The property manager Louana was so very helpful! Cannot say enough good things about her! Great job! The owners were also great at communicating as needed in booking process. The house is exactly as shown in the photos online. It is a great set up for 2 couples. The main bedroom and bathroom are enormous and the view is spectacular from that room. The other bedroom has a ensuite as well and is very nice. The living space is well organized and very large inside. The outdoor seating is plentiful with 4 nice loungers, a dining set and a couch and 2 chairs. Loads of space! To be able to swim right off our dock was fantastic. There is a point to the right when facing ocean that we swam out to snorkel every day. You will still want to do excursions to the coral gardens elsewhere but this is a nice filler activity at the house. The kitchen was stocked with the basics like oil and vinegar and spices. Greatly appreciated. Beds were firm but comfortable. The house was very clean. It was wonderful to have a covered parking spot that was gated as well. There are 4 bikes in great condition that we did not use. We had a rental van so we swam every day or drove places. Loads of fruit and veg for sale at roadside and then staples at local grocery stores. The owners have a well laid out book onsite to explain everything you need to know. We will be back! We stayed a week…..next time a month!!!!

This beautiful Balinese-style home is VERY spacious and situated with a beautiful view right on the water. It also has a dock that is great for walking out and viewing the fish, including rays, that swim by. It was also a great place to look at the beautiful stars in the sky on a clear night.The bedrooms were very comfortable with the AC units, and we were never hot in the other areas of the house with the ceiling fans. We also enjoyed the kitchen and terrace and beautiful grounds with mature landscaping. The house is well-located on the island and is close to a number of things . . . including the beautiful Matira beach. We ate at the Bora Bora Yacht Club near the main town and the Bora Bora Beach Club on Matira beach. We also ate at the nearby Lucky House, which was very good.There are a number of grocery stores on the island, the closest one is Tiare Market. Staying at a VRBO is a great way to get an authentic island experience. Louana was a wonderful manager.

Scenic, Quiet, Comfortable Spot off the Beaten Path

Well-equipped, comfortable, quiet home on the opposite side of the island from the main town. Very little traffic in the area. Excellent views east over the lagoon. Nice pier for sitting out over the water for coffee or wine. Comfy covered porch for mid-day lounging. Great property managers. Highly recommended.

Tehani was a great host! Responded quickly and was very accommodating to our needs & requests. The property manager, Louana was charming and great too! Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The Sunrise Villa was very clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location. Free shuttle service was amazing!! Beautiful Balinese home directly on lagoon in Bora Bora

Wonderful, large house with pier right on lagoon. Loved everything about the home! Easy check in/ check out. Highly recommend. Also, can drink the water from the fridge (filtered) which is very helpful. Very spacious and nice airflow throughout the home. AC in both bedrooms. Coffee provided on arrival as well. Louana, the property manager, is extremely helpful and friendly, than you so much, Louana! We would love to return! Thank you for everything!

Perfect hideaway on the mainland

If you've never been to Bora Bora you need to know that the mainland is great for dining out/activities/overpriced shopping. But the top resorts and the postcard-perfect beaches are now out on the surrounding sandbar islands called motus, which you reach by boat, and pay insane prices to visit/stay/get stuck at. This wooden gem is on the older side and close to the road, but it's right on the lagoon with a nice breeze and amazing views, plus a/c in the bedrooms and huge main suite. Perfect for a small family getaway, especially if you rent a car (there's only one road and its a circle so you won't get lost). Be sure to check out Lucky House/Mativa Beach.

Sunrise Villa to end our vacation was perfect!

We very much enjoyed our relaxing stay at sunrise villa. We loved the easy access to the water and snorkeling right off the dock. We saw sting Ray, black tip sharks and so many colorful fish right there at the house. The supermarket was just a few minute bike ride which we took daily to pick up our meals. We hired a captain with boat to explore the island and he was able to pick us up right at our own dock which was SO convenient! Everything from the check-in to the check out was so easy and organized and The property manager was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider another stay at sunrise villa!

Simply Amazing

One of the best spots we have stayed in a long time ! Host was great “louanna” made us feel at home , local love was fantastic.. Stores and resorts are a close bike ride , easy to get around.. we appreciated the slower side of the island .. Quite and relaxing.. snorkeling of the dock out front was a plus , host provided a lot of amenities .. very relaxing.. We rented a fishing charter, brought yellow fin home .. thank you bora bora fish charters. manu was on point !! Kitchen is big and well laid out .. we enjoyed :)

Excellent Stay

Heirama and Tehani were very accommodating and were quick to respond to all our messages. We are thankful we stayed at their beautiful property. It was perfect for our little family. They even helped to make the property look extra special for my husband whose birthday we were celebrating. Louana the property manager was so special. She was always available to assist us with anything we needed. She was resourceful and super kind. We were lucky to have her help us through our time in Bora Bora because she made it so much more easier. Thank Louana for your wonderful hospitality and warmth!
