"Le Bora Bora is paradise. Every detail is cared for under the attentive eye of the director, Franc, who is always present. The grounds are immaculate—no stray leaf, perfectly raked sand, and a maintenance team that deserves awards. The food is incredible. Every meal is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, from warm breakfast breads and omelettes to the tuna steak buffet with endless sides—poke, cheeses, yogurts, jams, desserts, and yes, fresh avocado with every meal. The staff is genuinely friendly, always greeting you with a smile and ready to help. Facilities are spotless, with bathrooms and water stations everywhere, offering cold water and fresh juices. Check‑in felt luxurious with scented towels, juice, and a warm welcome. The scenery is breathtaking—not only the crystal lagoons full of fish, but the lush, terraced gardens throughout the resort. Even garden‑view cabanas feel serene and picturesque, with countless peaceful spots to relax. The coral beneath the bungalows was a highlight, attracting triggerfish, needlefish, puffers, parrotfish, stingrays, and our favorite, the colorful Picasso triggerfish. All the staff were wonderful, but special thanks to: Hannaei at breakfast for her sweetness and attention; Lokeni at the pool bar for keeping the energy up; Viana and the concierge/boat team for seamless coordination; Daisy and Desiree at Minki Minki for being a great duo; and Taroararii, who never stops moving and helping."

"This is an awesome place - lovingly created and cared for by the owners. There is beautiful art all around and the view is amazing. But keep in mind that it's not for everyone. It's set back on a hill in the jungle. Getting to the beach involves riding a bike 15-20 minutes or renting a scooter or car. We got a car. I wouldn't recommend it for seniors, young children or people with mobility issues. There are some steps down to the bathroom and the walkways can be a little tricky for older folks. "

"The overwater bungalow was a beautiful experience. The amenities were plentiful, it is very hard to be bored with the included amenities. From making hats, to kayaking, snorkeling, etc all on the property and can be reached either from a short walk or swim. The staff were kind and pleasant to be around especially Ms. Barbara. "

"Tiare met us at the dock when we arrived. We had arranged to rent a car from them for 9000fp/day. She showed us around the town a little bit to point out where to get groceries, where the bank was. Before handing over the keys to the car, we dropped her off at her home a short distance from town. Jackfruit were in season and she had some ripe ones on her property so she gave us one. She also provided a phone with a local number we could use to contact her or Nir if needed. The drive from the town to the property took about 20min. The place was amazing. It was rather windy most of the days but inside the room, you couldn't tell and road traffic was barely noticeable. Looking over the balcony, we could see numerous fish but the small shark we saw stopped my wife from going in the water. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were decent. The air conditioning worked great and the place was clean, welcoming and well laid out. The water pressure was strong and the hot water was hot. There was some snorkeling equipment available which was well used but functional. The toilet paper was even better than that providing in most places. There was a Nespresso coffee maker which my wife was grateful for. There was a small washing machine with a clothes line outside on the balcony. The only thing that would have been nice to have been provided were a few laundry pods."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed every second of our stay! From snorkeling off the dock, playing cribbage on the deck at sunset, and getting the surprise of a lifetime when a flying fish paid us a visit, soaring out of the water twice in dramatic fashion! And a couple visits by rays as well!!!The rental car from Nir was so convenient, and he and his wife were available to us for all our needs! Phenomenal vacation! I hope we get to do it again someday! "
