House was big, nice, in great shape and clean. Georgetown doesn’t have much going on, but there are numerous nice small towns to visit within 15-30 minute drive. A little farther gets you to Portland and Freeport. Acadia is a 3 hour drive, but worth it. House itself is secluded in the woods, nice hot tub.
Our family enjoyed so much at this beautiful house. It was clean and very comfortable.
We love the location which was very quiet and were able to travel from there to all places we wanted to visit while in Maine.
We definitely recommend this place and will be happy to come back if taking vacation again in the area.
Thank you
This home was warm, comfortable and very well equipped inside and outside. The host responded quickly to all of our questions. The lodge setting reminded us of home in NC. We would love to come back and stay again.
My family of four had a wonderful time staying in this home for a week. We used it as home base for day trips around the area and enjoyed the grill, hot tub and firepit in a peaceful wooded setting in the evenings. We also enjoyed the comfy family room when we stayed in and watched movies on a rainy day. Our favorite things were Mile Beach at Reid State Park and lobster rolls and fried clams at Five Islands Lobster Co. Thanks for a great stay!
We loved your home. The secluded location made for a nice vacation. The host communicated well.
Outdoor fireplace was stacked with wood and ready for use. The friendly robin visited everyday.
Beautiful, quiet retreat, with lots to do in the area!
My wife, myself, my adult daughter and 3 year old granddaughter spent the week. It was perfect. Fun beach days, river cruise, museum tour, Freeport visit, shopping and just relaxing. The house is as beautiful as the pictures. Very clean and well furnished. The deck and fire pit are great for relaxing. The host is wonderful to communicate with and very accommodating.
We had an amazing stay on Georgetown Island. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. Perfect for hiking, making smores and relaxing in the hot tub. Laurie was so incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond when we left something behind to help get it back to us. Absolutely fantastic surprise toys that my son greatly enjoyed playing with.
This house was absolutely ideal for our annual vacation to Georgetown. Being a large family with teens to an infant, it's hard to find a property that works for everyone. This had enough space to spread out, but also ideal spots to all spend time together. It was clean, comfortable, and the hosts could not have been better. The location was quiet and private, but within easy drives to both Reid and Popham State Parks. We loved the hot tub and outdoor fireplaces, and the kitchen was very well appointed. We are looking forward to hopefully staying here again in the future.
We took this trip as a family trip to see our son who is at the Dolphin Restaurant for an externship. This home was so amazing, it is beautiful and down a country road in the woods. It was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and the hot tub was the best! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans making it of so helpful to cook for my family.
This home was above our expectations! We were very happy
This home is beautiful and has a wonderful layout that is perfect for families. You are out in the woods and the deer will literally come within 15 feet of the deck to feed. There are trees everywhere and sitting on the large patio drinking coffee every morning was heaven. They also have a great hot tub to soak in at the end of the day on the patio. The owners couldn't have been nicer and one of them was actually there to great us when we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed. When we had a question they answered it and when we had an issue with the washing machine they came right over and fixed it. You do have to travel a little on some country roads to get to the resident and you are about 10-15 minutes from most of the restaurants in Bath or Georgetown, but if you want solitude and country beauty this is the perfect place for you and your family.
The layout of this beautiful home was perfect for our family of five. There was space for us to gather together as well as ample room for us to spread out for a quiet afternoon of reading or relaxing. The great location allowed us to easily make day trips both north and south to explore the coast of Maine.
The home was comfortable, very clean and all areas were ready for our use. The outdoor fire pit, gas grill and fully stocked kitchen allowed us to easily cook meals together. Laurie had thought of everything…cooking sheets, bowls, mixer, you name it; she had it! The TV and surround sound were nice for late night movies & popcorn with the family.
Laurie was very thorough with information & directions for entering, managing and closing the home. When I had any questions, she was responsive and helpful. I’d highly recommend this home for your visit to Maine.

The house was amazing and had everything we needed! The host was responsive to our needs.
We loved this place. It was a cozy place to recharge as we explored Bath, Georgetown Island, Reid State Park, and Booth Bay. Owner was terrific and very hospitable. The house was clean, comfortable, and charming.
Beautiful house in the woods in Maine. Quiet spot to relax in the evenings after exploring the islands and coast during the days. Hosts were very friendly and responsive - overall a great experience.
If you're trying to get away from it all and still have the amenities of home, Laurie has the house for you. Laurie was very responsive and a delight to converse with. Loved our stay.
Location was ideal for some quiet time but close enough to get to activities, restaurants and more. Very kid friendly house which mine appreciated. Had no issues or complaints!
