Sprucewold Cabin- w/ Private Beach Club Access Dog-friendly

  • Nestled in the woods near the historic log cabin community of Sprucewold, this lovely rental boasts private beach club access. Affectionately known as Cozy Cabin; take an easy stroll down to the soft sand overlooking Linekin Bay. This cabin is also a cozy place to spend time during the holiday season. Head to the nearby Harbor Lights Festival and stop in local shops and restaurants, or visit 'Gardens Aglow' at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens - an amazing display of thousands of lights. Pairing vintage furnishings with modern comforts, this brand-new custom cabin features a large deck with great views of the surrounding woodland - an incredible all-season oasis. Large windows, exposed beams, and hardwood floors create a cozy atmosphere in the well-appointed family room. Watch your favorite shows on the 32-inch flat-screen TV with cable. There's comfy seating for eight on a sofa, recliner, and armchair. Upstairs, a quaint loft area has an assortment of children's books and games. When it's time to eat, head to the open-concept kitchen to whip up something delicious. Enjoy a full complement of modern appliances and cook up local fare with a provided lobster pot. In the dining area, you'll find a large table that seats up to eight. The wraparound deck includes a rocking bench, al fresco dining, and a Weber gas grill.

Wonderful location and property

We had a delightful stay! Indoor and outdoor spaces were exactly as expected. The beach club is a little bit of a hike but totally worth it. Kids enjoyed some beach time and hunting for crabs.

Idyllic cozy cabin!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin was clean, updated, organized and very cozy. It would be a wonderful place to stay a while. We all agreed that we wished our short stay was longer. The kids loved the bunk beds and toys. The adults loved eating out on the deck and sitting around the fire pit. The weather was in the 80s, but the cabin never got too hot. Would definitely book this cabin again!

Gardens Aglow Friends Weekend

"We had a wonderful stay with another family, making it two families and three kids (ages 8–10) in total. The house was very family-friendly. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds and the selection of toys, which kept them entertained throughout the trip. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, making it incredibly convenient. We were also charmed by the woodland animal-themed holiday tree—it added such a cozy and festive touch to our stay. The location was perfect, with an easy drive to the Botanical Garden, the main highlight of our visit. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future!"

Great secluded location. Beautiful grounds - well maintained. Wonderful porch area where we spent most of our time. Well stocked kitchen. Only issue was w/ the gas fire pit - did not work. And communication w/ Vacasa was significantly delayed and did not address the issue.

Girls Weekend 2024

The home was clean, roomy, and very well equipped inside and out. The property was very well maintained. The deck was amazing for having your morning coffee and listening to the birds and also for just winding down after a day of adventures on the harbor. The location was perfect close to the hustle and bustle of the beautiful quaint town and very peaceful and serene at the home. The private access beach was very nice as well quiet ripple of soft waves, nice clean sandy area to relax and a roped of section with a float to swim to. I would 100% recommend this home!

Family Weekend

We had a wonderful stay. Of all the places I have rented, this house was perfectly stocked with everything our group could want. The attention to detail to the kids toys and games was amazing. My nephew had a blast. The house was clean and welcoming. The washer and dryer were so nice to have. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved the porch and the fire table. The location is perfect for us, close to town but still tucked away and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Our family of five (plus pup!) really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The location was great - quiet setting close to the beach club and downtown. The amenities were great - everything you need to cook, eat, sleep, etc in a home away from home setting. We noticed the path to the beach had poison Ivy, so we had to either drive or walk to the beach club via the road (not a huge deal but not what we expected). The grill and fire pit were nice amenities - both clean and easy to use. There were plenty of games for indoor and outdoor use and a great lawn to play on. We highly recommend staying here!

First visit to Boothbay

At first I was not sure due to the fact that the code did not work. Called the number located on the front door and we were assisted immediately. The house was perfect for us and we felt extremely comfortable. However, it was uncharacteristically HOT so that was the only downfall. But we found some fans and it wasn't terrible. House had everything we needed and really enjoyed the peacefulness and the amazing views.

Beautiful Rental and Wonderful Vacation

The cabin is fully prepped for any length of stay and the location is beautiful and peaceful. The most important part was being able to take our dog with us. The available laundry and children’s toys were a blessing for everyone. My daughter especially appreciated the star night light projector with sleeping in a new place. This was our first time in the Sprucewold neighborhood and the location is stunning with privacy, nature on your doorstep, and a beautiful beach. Our family enjoyed the amenities and walks in the morning. We had deer walking in the front yard and wild turkeys crossing the road. The entire area is beautiful and quiet. Vacasa, the property management, were very helpful and answered any questions during our stay. I definitely recommend this property for families to vacation at.

This house is an incredible find. The setting couldn’t be more picturesque. It’s a nice quiet hideaway just minutes from the adorable town of Boothbay Harbor. The amenities available here are wonderful, and the toys for the kids were such a nice touch. My kids loved being here and we were all sad to leave. Will definitely stay again!
