"I was exhausted when I arrived. Richard was so professional and patient, and made the check in process very quick and easy. Room was clean and comfortable, and I was glad to see that a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker were all available. I would like to see shampoo and conditioner available, as I forgot mine. "

"The view was very nice even though the lake was quite low due to the annual draining. The house was relatively clean, but it was old and could benefit from some nice updating, including kitchen appliances. Several of the lights did not work, and there were no towel hangers in the master bath. We had to wash one set of the bed sheets which were covered in black animal hair. We stayed in November, and the lower part of the house was cold and drafty. The oversized furniture in the living room was hard to walk around safely. But the biggest drawback to this property is the very steep driveway, which had a hairpin turn, making it extremely dangerous in the dark. Not a place that I would rent again."

"We booked the cabin for our Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed every minute of it! The drive to the cabin was gorgeous. The property was amzaing with an excellent view and access to Boone Lake. The cabin had everything we needed; cookware, towels, extra pillows and blankets (even snacks and games). We look forward to our next stay at Deer Lick Cabin! "

"Beautiful area! Very clean inside, a lot nicer than i expected it to be. Hot tub was so nice. The place itself was easy to access, quiet neighbors and overall a beautiful area. Host was incredibly kind and communicative and I will absolutely be booking here again some day! "

"We spent a week here. Didn't spend any time on the lake. Enjoyed watching the deer from the big windows in the back and front of the house. The house appears to have been recently remodeled and was very clean and comfortable. The full-sized fridge and freezer were nice to have, as we prepared most of our meals at the house. Big TV, easy access to our streaming services (just had to log in then log out when we left), and comfortable seating. There were just two of us so we had plenty of room. Lots of things to do nearby. Enjoyed hiking Buffalo Mountain and the Tweetsie trails. "

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The property is comfortable and cozy, and located in a quiet location near the end of a cul-de-sac. The highlight is the deck overlooking the lake, so nice for enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine in a peaceful setting with a lovely view of Boone Lake.Owner/management were briskly responsive and helpful when the electronic door entry lock proved to be a challenge.We hope to stay here again!Would recommend "
