6 adults an 2 dogs in town for a Wedding..The house was just as described, more than enough room for all of us . Clean and well stocked. The decoration was perfect for the location.
Was a great experience, really nice property, great view, really closed to beech mountain resort with great activities around. I stayed with my kids and they had a lot of fun, a quiet neighborhood, I don’t have any negative comments about it. I will stay again I totally recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is perfect as it sits directly in between Banner Elk and Beech Mountain and it's only a few minutes drive to each town. Home was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again. Thanks!
We had the best time while staying at the house. It's a great location, especially for the Woolly Worm Festival! Beautiful time of year, great weather, and great house to stay in. We had a total of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. We had plenty of space and room for the kids to sleep. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future!
Great cabin style house with beautiful wood inside with A frame vaulted ceiling and stunning views. Loved the warm comfortable interior furnishings furniture. Called twin beds my grandchildren bear den!
This is a beautiful house with a sweeping valley view. Several old friends joined me for a weekend of catching up after many years. The house was perfect for us, and the service was excellent. When we discovered the tank for the gas grill was empty, the host had a new one delivered within the hour! I hope to stay there again sometime.
Wow! This cabin is spacious, very clean, with beautiful views, comfortable and relaxing. This is great for a family getaway or get-together. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, there is plenty of room to stretch out or sit on the deck and enjoy the views. We had deer about and a nice cozy fireplace. It is a place not to miss, especially for big gatherings. Caution: The roads are a bit windy, especially if one doesn't like night driving. You will enjoy it.
This cabin was very comfortable, the furniture and beds were very nice. Every detail was well appointed from the drip coffee maker, to the Keurig, to the electric teapot; they really wanted you to have your coffee "your way". Everything about the kitchen was the same, thoughtful in every detail. The rooms were very dark, which meant a great sleep, but they had placed night lights in all the right places so that you could find your way in the dark. The views from the deck were spectacular, we couldn't get enough of the sound of the trees blowing in the wind. Great location as well. Thanks for a great stay. We plan to come back.
Easy check in and great location. 5 min drive to Beech and 10 min drive to Banner Elk. Very spacious cabin. Mountain range view is obstructed by leaves but would be great in the winter. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and there are noticeable pet stains throughout; however, it is a pet friendly property. Very cozy overall. Wouldn’t stay again just because of pet stains. The property was very clean but felt not clean because of the stains.
A great family trip. We drove up from Florida and my son and his family drove down from Connecticut. A great meeting point. Everyone had their very own space! My only issue was our dog who is not comfortable with other dogs was greeted just after we arrived by a neighbors big black dog. He came right up to the glass door. That set our dog into a panic. He came around almost daily. Everything else was perfect!
5 star property & location. Blessed to see a momma bear & her 3 cubs, as well as a doe & newborn fawn. The property is impeccably clean. The owner & property management company were extremely helpful when the power went out & the gate controller lost it’s brain. Almost too late we found out there are remote controls for the gate on the table inside the door that would have solved the problem.
I also had to ask the management company for a current gate code the day before check in as the check in information gave us only the prior 2 months, so make sure you have that before you arrive.
Highly recommend.

Flooded Nightmare on Lazy Lane
Start - door code wouldn't work - called at 4:40PM - after hours recording - left several VMs - waited in cold rain, finally contacted - reset the code. House was clean (1 positive thing). Water was so bad, I had to buy a bunch. Many times the shower water was down to a trickle then would slowly start again. Two days in - basement had small ceiling leak - called/texted left VM @ 9:45PM, no reply. Next day a ceiling fan fell - hanging by wires. Again contacted management via phone/text about the leak/fan - finally got response. Told someone would be out - ask for ETA. Waited all day - couldn't leave dogs alone. Service person a no show. Next morning - the small leak burst. Called & text again many times - no response. Friend contacted the homeowner via Facebook - said they would contact us. Was able to find & cut water off. 8 people now with no water. Was finally contacted via text - service person sent. Did nothing but look & leave. We're told we could go to another home - waited over three hours - left msgs via texts over & over to confirm a new home. Had to go back to a flooded house to pack and move. Water in the home was not being removed - could cause mold - family members couldn't stay in the basement prior to the flood due to odors. To date, I haven't been contacted by the customer care team. So automated - the personal support is lost. Needless to say, I wouldn't return - lack of service plus health concerns - possible mold in the basement.
