Imperial River VACATION GEM - Best Resort-Like Vacation on the Imperial River!

It's called The River Shack... but it's more like The River "Chic" ... You will feel like you are at an all inclusive private resort here at The River Shack - completely and privately inclusive for you!

Each bedroom has a queen bed to sleep a total of four guests. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed to accommodate two additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparation of all meals. A laundry room is on site as well, so pack as little or as much as you like!

Enjoy an enormous outside entertainment area to include an outdoor kitchen, lots of dining space, fire pit, heated pool & spa all while admiring the amazing view of the Imperial River.

You will love the tranquil, peaceful sounds of the wildlife! Take advantage of the kayak and paddle boards and keep an eye out for dolphins and manatee!

The River Shack is a nice bike ride away from the up and coming Downtown Bonita Springs... check out the Survey Cafe, the Downtown Wine & Coffee Company and the newly opened Rooftop at Riverside. You may even be around for a concert event or festival at Riverside Park. Of course, Bonita Beach is just about 5 miles away. So much to do!

The river shack is beautiful and very relaxing Nardi is an excellent host and very accommodating. We stay at the river shack every time we visit Bonita Springs. Love watching dolphins and Manatees swim by. It's the perfect location and Nardi is the perfect host! Love this place!!

Resort style property in a great location

This is an unusual property nicely decorated with high quality furniture and fittings. The outside area is really great. Lots of seating, a really good barbecue, a nice pool and a great outdoor sound system perfect for chilling in the evening. Right on the Imperial river which is awesome for kayaking or paddle boarding. Property is not that large so works best for couples. We stay in this area a lot and really enjoyed this house as it has a real holiday feel. We would definintely rent it again.

Great Family Getaway :)

We absolutely loved the River Shack. We needed a weekend to relax and reset, this was a the perfect place for that. The property is stunning and the view is amazing! We will definitely be back!

Great house and location!

The house was wonderful! It was clean and looked just like the online images. We loved the pool and jacuzzi. My son enjoyed fishing off the dock. The location of the house was also great, close to everything we needed. The property manager was responsive when I reached out with a question. Very happy with our stay!!

We spent two awesome weeks enjoying this perfect spot of relaxation. Florida one floor living at it's best. Great location close to Rte 41 with everything you need close by. The pool and spa couldn't be better. Love all the landscape lighting at night and the pool lights. We'll definitely be back again.

Loved the home! Had a cuban tropical flare to the decor, and unexpected amenities such as the Bluetooth speakers in the yard. Great manatee watching from the dock, too! We'll be back!

Wonderful home, clean and inviting. Patio is fantastic, as is the pool and hot tub. The shower is fab! Enjoyed the wild life which is abundant on the river. Many herons, egrets, manatees (saw 4) and an occasional dolphin. Nesting osprey in neihboring property. Host was great and made sure everything was perfect for us.

Great escape

Our family of four had an amazing stay. This is a beautiful property. We stayed over New Years and enjoyed the firework show across the river! Everything was taken care of during our stay. Really enjoyed cooking in the new kitchen. We spent hours in the jacuzzi/pool. Extremely clean. Will stay again!

Wonderfully relaxing family time

Beautiful,relaxing or lots to keep busy. The pool and hot tub and perfect for water people (like me) or there is fishing or kayaking an sunbathing and the dog next-door gives a bark to let you know dolphins are coming through. I love that everything you need is right off the road you are on to not have to go into busy traffic. Nardi was amazing and very helpful cant wait to come back.

Great Father/Son Fishing Getaway

Had a great week at the “River Shack”. Perfect location for a father/son fishing getaway. House is conveniently located right on the Imperial River. Amazing backyard with pool, hot tub, kayak, paddle board. Fish right off the dock! Property matches description and host is readily available/proactive in communication/helpful! Can’t wait to return soon!!

Great property

The River Shack was just what my family was looking for! My step mother is handicap and I have a 7 yr old so we loved the layout of the property and how quiet and relaxing it was. Would definitely book this property again. Fishing is good as well if that helps anyone. Hooked a snook that had to be over 36” but got broke off

Gorgeous

This house is beautiful, no doubt about that. Meticulously clean, with an awesome location and an outdoor setup that makes you never want to leave. We had a few problems arise but the owner was quick to respond. Just a heads up, there is one dishwasher pod, one detergent pod, and 2 garbage bags for the week. We’ve rented many homes in beach towns and found it a bit odd that there was no cooler, beach chairs, can coozies, etc. Also, this was the first host that didn’t leave a welcome basket or note of any kind. That being said, we had a wonderful time. The house really is spectacular..

Great stay at the river shack

My gf and I were celebrating an anniversary and found this cute little place. I am very glad the owner was able yo help me book as vrbo had a glitch. The place is decorated very nicely, feels nice and cozy. The bbq came in handy as we made some steaks our first nice. The pool was great after that nice meal. Interior was very welcoming, great design choice. Just look at the pictures its a great representation of what to expect. At night the whole back yard is lit by accent lighting, and under the dock there are lights in the water where you will see fish circling. As you can tell we were very happy with our stay. 10/10, you wont be disappointed

A Perfect Family Oasis: The River Shack

Our family had an incredible time at The River Shack in Bonita Springs, Florida. The property was a perfect fit for our family of five. The house itself was stunning, clearly reflecting the effort put into updating the interior. Although the beach was just a short drive away, we found it hard to leave the house, as the backyard provided us with endless entertainment. The pool and hot tub were nothing short of amazing, and we enjoyed spending most of our time there. Thanks to the provided stand up paddle boards and kayaks, we ventured out to explore the picturesque canals surrounding the area, creating unforgettable memories together. The abundance of seating outdoors allowed us to comfortably unwind while making s'mores over the fire pit, creating a sense of tranquility and relaxation. Overall, The River Shack provided the perfect oasis for our family to unwind, making our stay an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful retreat in Bonita Springs, Florida. Our host, Nardi, made our stay at The River Shack even more special. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and was incredibly accommodating throughout our time there. When he stopped by to check on us, we had a pleasant chat, and his warm and friendly nature made us feel right at home. It's the personal touches like this that made us feel like family and truly made our experience memorable. We are grateful for his hospitality and plan to return for another stay!
