This house is very close to downtown Manchester with many shops and restaurants within a 10 minute drive from the house. The cabin is located near a main road, and some road noise can be heard from the property. An aerial photo in our gallery shows the location for your reference.
Guests will have private access to the entire house and its amenities. This includes the two bedrooms, loft, living spaces, kitchen, and outdoor areas. The only exception is one locked owner's closet located in the downstairs bedroom, which is not accessible to guests.
Step into our relaxing, bohemian 1965 A-Frame, a cozy yet comfortable 1024 sq. ft. space designed with your relaxation in mind.
• Living Area and Dining: Unwind by the prominent stone fireplace, the heart of the home. A queen pull out sofa provides additional sleeping space, and a record player adds a vintage touch. Large windows frame the surrounding trees and fill the space with natural light. A dedicated dining area with ample seating is perfect for shared meals, morning coffee, or game night. A smart TV with Netflix is available for cozy movie nights, while board games and books invite slower, screen free evenings. • Bedrooms: Two serene bedrooms feature plush memory foam queen beds and soft linens. Large operable skylights bring in natural light by day and fresh mountain air at night, with the option to fall asleep under the stars. • Loft: An upstairs loft overlooks the main living area and offers a dedicated workspace along with a quiet reading nook. Bathrooms: A convenient half bath is located off the upstairs bedroom. Downstairs, a recently remodeled full bathroom blends updated finishes with the home’s character. • Kitchen: A clean, fully functional kitchen stocked with essential cookware and dishware. Select fixtures remain original to the home’s 1965 construction, preserving its vintage charm. • Outdoor Space: Gather around the stone fire pit for evenings under the stars or relax on the new outdoor lounge furniture with your morning coffee. A charcoal grill is available during the warmer months (guests will need to supply their own charcoal). Surrounded by trees, the setting feels private and peaceful in every season.
Kindly note the aerial photo in our listing showing the location of the A-Frame and the proximity to the main road as some road noise can be heard from the cabin.
Please be sure to review the house rules prior to booking. The A-Frame has been designed for quiet getaways, so parties are prohibited. Please also note the details of our pet policy, which is further explained in our house rules.
Although the A-Frame is directly off a well maintained main road, we still recommend a vehicle with 4-wheel or all-wheel drive during the winter months.
Connectivity: Being in a National Forest, cell phone reception can be spotty. We provide fast WiFi for your use. We recommend enabling WiFi calling on your devices for reliable communication. Wildlife: You are in nature! Please be mindful of local wildlife, such as raccoons, insects, rodents, bears, and deer. Do not leave food outdoors. Registration Number: MRT-10960213

We had a short getaway to Southern VT and this area was perfect. Easy to get to and just outside of Manchester, there was plenty to do and see including hikes, quaint towns, and scenic vistas. The homeowners have put alot of thought into this adorable cottage and were absolutely wonderful to communicate with. We want to thank them for sharing their home!
Great home, perfect weekend away at Stratton. Host was great and so was the property

Great kick off to Autumn
This was the perfect cabin to set up base for exploring the area on my New England road trip. Its vintage charm with modern upgrades set the mood perfectly to kick off October! It’s slightly off the main road, but the cabin is tucked away enough that I didn’t even notice. Great location for the local tourist attractions!
Comfortable accommodations and great location for a ski vacation at Stratton.
We stayed 3 nights in this very charming house. Beds were very comfortable , the location is very close to Manchester, and the back of the house overlooks a beautiful forest and stream. My young kids loved the "A" and cozy loft space. We had a very nice stay.

Such a cute spot. Great location, everything you need and such great hosts. 10/10
We were in town for a horse show so didn't get to enjoy the house to its fullest because of long days out. It was simply the cutest house ever inside and out. It had everything we needed and was spotless. Everything was simple and efficient. Host even checked in to make sure everything was good.
We had a wonderful stay at this charming property. The location couldn't have been more convenient to Manchester/Bromley. We appreciated all of the thoughtful details that the hosts put into this home, including for our pup. We had zero complaints and hope to be back!
We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the house. It was also extremely cozy for watching tv/relaxing at night. Our plan was to hike in the Green Mountain National Forest, and we could not have chosen a place any more convenient. It was right in the heart of the forest. Although there was some traffic outside, we could not hear much of it inside. My one issue was that the majority of the windows do not open. That was difficult as some nights were warm. The upstairs AC did not cool off the downstairs bedroom. All in all, the place was great and I would stay there again. The host was very accommodating with all of my questions.
had a great time in this cabin!! very stylish and moody. was close enough to town for quick breakfasts and meals. lots of cool hiking trails nearby. would stay again!
This is my 1st vrbo experience & it set the expectations high for others down the line. The quaintness of the property itself combined w/ the added touches from the hosts went above & beyond everyones expectations. I went with my sister & cousin (43-49yo) and they also felt the same. The hosts were very quick to respond and check in. The spot was close to downtown Manchester shops & great restaurants in the area too!!! I would recommend this rental to anyone!!!
The lingo is bound to change eventually, but my teenaged daughters and I returned this year for two weeks and they report that the A-Frame is still vibey. We loved the renovated bathroom and shower. Monique and Jason are very considerate hosts, and the house is well-stocked with small extras like toilet paper and fresh coffee. We discovered many new hikes, the Hapgood General Store in Peru, and the Northshire Bookstore. Over two weeks, the only thing we missed was a washer/dryer, but the laundromat in Manchester is just down the road and very efficient and tidy.
This property is very conveniently located to be just a short drive to all that southern VT has to offer. We really enjoyed using the A-Frame as our hub. The property too has a lot to offer. Beds were comfortable, main bathroom is recently renovated so that was very comfortable. Record player is a nice touch to go along with the wood burning stove. There is also an outdoor fire pit and plenty of firewood to get you though your stay. Communication with the host was great and always quick with solid suggestions.
A is for awesome. House was super cozy, in a great location for access to Manchester and beyond, and Monique and Jason have everything covered. The place is so well stocked, it's truly a home away from home. Beds are super comfy, too boot! We had a great time with our pupper and will definitely stay again!
Everything was perfect! Such a cute house, perfect for our little winter getaway.
Once we found found this property it was such an easy process to book it. Monique thought of everything to make sure that we were fully prepared or our trip. She had so many great suggestions for local restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend!
Monique and Jason are the sweetest hosts you'll ever find! They would always respond quickly and made sure we had everything we needed, including amazing recommendations for local places to eat. The A-frame is such a lovely home and the perfect place for our winter get-a-way. The house has everything you could want, from a cozy wood burner to plenty of vinyls and activities. Whether we were out exploring the town or having a chill day in, we were always having a great time!
The place was just as advertised. Super cute, cozy, mini nice touches and amenities. Another review said “Vibey”, And my teenager agreed! When bad weather was predicted we ended up having to leave a day early, and the hosts were amazingly considerate! Would totally stay there again and recommend it highly!
My teenaged daughters immediately pronounced the A-Frame "vibey," which to them means "a pleasant feeling, moment, memory, mood." They loved the comfortable couch and the working turntable and assortment of records. I appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout (extra cleaning supplies, condiments and coffee in the kitchen, extra toilet paper). And with those teenaged-girls, I was especially grateful for a working kitchen with everything I needed to make dinners and pack lunches. The property is close to both Manchester and the other side of the mountain which has working Vermont farms and great local food and produce. Monique is responsive and kind.
The A- frame is beautifully styled and unique. The home was very clean and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Our family had a blast at the Bromley Adventure Park and enjoyed Hapgood Pond. The home is directly off the main road which is noted in the description. We enjoyed this convenience, but may have liked a slightly more hidden location. The owner was very easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. Great home in a beautiful setting!
Loved the house, it felt old in a good way but with all the modern amenities. My family stayed there and sent the kids to day camp at nearby Camp Wa Wa Segowea during the day and us parents just hung out! Stayed with a couple of other families who also sent their kids to camp. It was a pleasure!
