"We enjoyed our stay the the Hotel Ballast Wilmington. We were in town for a One Tree Hill convention and this was the most convenient hotel we could have chose. The first day was a little hectic. I checked- in through the app, and my key was still not ready when we arrived. When we got to the hotel, I waited in a long line while ONE poor girl ran the front desk. Where was her help when all these people were checking in? We also didn't have room service for one day, but other than that great hospitality. We were able to walk to the convention center on the riverwalk. Super close to restaurants too. Our room we selected was the river view and it was gorgeous! There was some normal wear and tear in the hotel, a few things that could be updated. Our toilet roll dispenser was falling off the wall, and the toilet ran randomly. We used the gym on site and were able to get a great workout in. We had dinner at Sugo Italian Steakhouse and it was so delicious!! I definitely will be staying here again."

"Parking wasn’t free, I had to pay 30.00 a day to park! I parked on the gravel it was tough getting my luggage through the gravels. No elevators."

"This unit is beautifully placed within the cove villas. Views were incredible and the houseboat was very clean. Host was wonderful to work with and we will be using them again for our annual trip there!!!"
