"This hotel surpassed our expectations. The receptionist on arrival was very helpful and smiling. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable queen size bed. The room also had 3 comfortable chairs and a table. There was also a fridge. Within easy walking distance there was a large beach and a large selection of bars and restaurants. Breakfast menu was large and varied and was in the restaurant next door. Served really good food all day also."

"Our stay at Hotel Los Habaneros was very good. The hotel is extremely clean and well located, just a short walk from the city centre. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and always helpful. Cartagena is full of history and truly amazing to explore. Even if you arrive in the evening, don’t miss a walk through the old town all the way to the Roman Theatre of Cartagena — it’s especially atmospheric at that time of day."

"Parking in a perfect location within a gated area within the hotel grounds 15 euros a day. There were about 150 children staying at the hotel. They were out and about most of the time but come meal times you had to judge a time to have lunch and dinner before the children arrived. Had we known we would gave chosen different dates for our break."

"Great accommodation for the price. The only thing that could have been better is for the pool to have longer opening hours. It is only available from 11am to 7pm. As I was only staying for 1 night I missed the pool opening hours. I would have liked an early morning swim!"

"Breakfast hot food cold. Desk clerk didn’t tell taxi where we were going so I had to use translator. No WiFi in rooms, lobby or restaurant. They looked shocked I didn’t report WiFi outage, not my job. Four star hotels are on that stuff. Wouldn’t stay again, needed WiFi."

"Stayed for 5 nights during our bathroom renovation. Excellentky priced. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and maid service every day. Fabulous shower and moderation bathroom. Hotel is a short walk to the port with many bars, restaurants and amenities. Lovely outdoor pool area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious stay at an affordable price."
