Houseboats in Bolivia

"I had arranged airport shuttle for our late arrival. When we came out with our bags there was an unmanned counter for Sun Hotel that had a sign with our name. We were instructed to call the number and the van arrived in 5 minutes. I was expecting to be greeted by someone, but this worked. It is so close to airport and great for a stopover."

"Very nice hotel away from the old town but taxis are very inexpensive and we had excellent local restaurants. One of our best meals was at the hotel restaurant, Terra, which I highly recommend...it appeared people not staying at the hotel would come to eat there. We needed a separate card to take the elevator to our room. The Swedish embassy was located on the floor below ua. The staff was excellent, including communication about us arriving at 4am. We especially lived the bartender, David, who was fun and made outstanding drinks. Gracias!"

"Lovely unique hotel with spa facilities. Great views. Food and drink expensive compared to elsewhere in Bolivia. 5 star hotel with 5 star prices. Transfer back to airport works out expensive if more than 1 person as charge per person rather than vehicle, so if 2 people or more taxi is cheaper "
