"This is a fantastic little comfortable house close to the beach. The best part is the private wind-protected backyard for relaxing, eating, and hot tubbing. The beds are super comfortable. The only downside was that many of the pots/pans required washing before use."

"The unit itself was very nice, well appointed and in a great location. It had everything we needed to cook and bake. The fresh loaf of local bread was a really nice surprise. At the time of our stay (May 2024) the staircase down to the unit was under construction. The only way down to the unit was a dangerous trail with wobbly steps. This was a challenging climb in and out, but with luggage, it was a nightmare."

"We spent three nights at the Admiral’s Quarters. It is a great place to stay while enjoying the Pt. Reyes/Tomales Bay area. The location is close to many attractions and has a beautiful view of the bay, particularly at sunset..The interior is charming and includes everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hosts, Fred and Karen, are good communicators and a pleasure to work with. This was our third stay, and we look forward to returning."

However as we pulled into the property, a lady had already parked there and plugged her car in and quickly ran into the house. The email told us to park in that place. We knocked in the door where the lady went but no response at all. Calling or contacting the host was a failure on multiple attempts. The sign on the door said to take our shoes off, but if you do, you will end up with pet hair on your socks or bare...

"The place was nice and clean. I was expecting my security deposit back and I did not receive it cause I was charged for some towels and bed sheet that was stained $225 dollars not fair! Even tho we fixed the broken handle on the stove and our door went bad since the fridge didn't keep our food cold enough. I did not want to complain cause I really they wasn't gonna play me with my deposit but that was very unfair all of that comes off in the wash I'm sure "
