"The room was big and nice. Airconditioning and fan were working properly. I missed a kettle. Location is a short camboo ride (5 km) from Bolgatanga, and a short walk (5 minutes) from the main road. A great starting point for day trips to Paga, Tongo and Bongo. The water in the pool was green and not very clean, but still very refreshing. The food was pretty good, but the restaurant a bit depressing, so I decided to eat in my room. Laundry service was perfect. No room cleaning during my 4 days...

"Iā€™m not sure if it was the heat, but most of the staff seemed offā€”aside from a few who were pleasant. The general attitude felt a bit nonchalant. When I got to the restaurant, it was extremely hot, so I asked for the AC to be turned on. They did, but it was still uncomfortable, so I requested a fan as well. At that point, I felt like I was becoming a bother. The gentleman in the restaurant seemed annoyed, ignored me, and walked away. Eventually, one of the receptionists noticed what was going on and kindly asked me to move closer to a fan that was already on. The whole situation felt a bit like pride getting in the way. Overall, the stay was still worth it. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the AC was very noisy."
