"Not the most attractive hotel from the outside but everything inside was excellent. Very friendly helpful staff. Spotless rooms and plentiful buffet breakfast. The pool and sauna were again spotless, well maintained and warm. Decor inside was 'different' most amusing to see various animals holding all the light fittings..!"

"A great family run hotel right in town. Great location to walk everywhere. Room was great. We did not have breakfast there. We came from Paris for an overnight trip and planned on taking the bus for 2 euro, however there were no buses running and we had a hard time finding a taxi to drive us a half hour to the hotel. It was an unexpected $100 to get there. Not their fault at all. Just check with hotel - not just the bus website before booking. They arranged a driver back to the train. Again another $80-100 dollars. I would recommend this hotel !"

"Overall a good stay. They advertised gluten free bread at the breakfast buffet. When I asked for some, they said it had to be offered and would take 10-12 minutes. Turns out they had it frozen and needed warm it up. It has over done and rock hard. Otherwise a good stay. "

"We only stayed one night at the Adonis, so have limited experiences to report. One slight negative is that the receptionist was so overworked, and apparently without help, that she had to shut up the reception for at least 20 minutes in a busy time, leaving new arrivals waiting outside, while she attended to other business. On the other hand, the breakfast was very good."
