"The room had been renovated beautifully. Fully rewired with usb charging points and a plethora of lighting options. The bed was very comfortable with a bolster, two pillows and a decorative cushion per person, the most pillows we've ever encountered in France! Despite Cherbourg undergoing significant utility and road revamping, it made little impact in the hotel. Free parking was easily available within a few minutes walk 😀"

"The two things that would make us hesitate to stay here again are the traffic and squeaky floor noises. The blinds shut out some, but not all, traffic noise. The road is the sea front major route through Chetbourg . When you walk across the floor it really .squeeks and comes from your and others rooms. Bad news if others go to bed or get up earlier than you, and if anyone gets up in the night for the loo. Shame because the room size and breakfast was amazing but I need a good and full night's...

"If you want your holiday house to be immaculate, minimalist and stylish, don’t stay here. If you like comfort, homeliness and books, do stay here. We loved it. Especially coming home from a long walk on the beach to an old style log fire, and tea with a slice of Louisa’s amazing apple cake. But what makes Joel’s place so special is its location. "The view is magnificent. Location is convenient to supermarkets, a great seafood store and local bakery. The apartment is very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful, great for a relaxing holiday. On Sunday, the sea is filled with sailboats, a beautiful sight. The hosts , Valerie and Mickael were wonderful hosts, making sure we were happy. I so appreciate that. I would highly recommend this property."
