"Absolutely loved it. The staff were great, the room was beautiful, very clean and in a great location. Breakfast was really tasty too. We had a lakeside room overlooking the garden and although you can't technically see the lake for the trees the view is still spectacular. We spent ages sitting out on the balcony"

"The room was fine. The food was a buffet but still good and breakfast was good. The location was fine. Some staff like the waiters were very helpful although it took a while to get a drink. Reception were a little frosty."

"The hotel was not a good fit for us. It was clean, room and balcony were spacious, the staff was polite, and the view from our balcony was truly spectacular. But it’s on the quiet side of the lake, had an extremely limited restaurant menu (one page total with plenty of white space) the bathtub is poorly configured and the place personified faded beauty. Think late Victorian chic. To be fair, I noticed there were returning customers as we checked in, so lots of people must be satisfied. Other than the million dollar view, it was not a place I’d pay to return. "

"Doris is a wonderful and generous host! This property is perfect for our four person family (two adults and two teenage daughters) for 4 nights. We loved the location! It is quaint, quiet, and close to Lake Bohinj and the national park. The Kitchen is very well stocked with cooking supplies. The refrigerator is good sized and has a small freezer inside. The bathroom is small but effecient. The shower has GREAT water pressure. The bath towels were small but soft.The two bedrooms, one with space for two twin beds and one with a queen bed, have plenty of storage space. The duvets were warm and cozy. There are electrical outlets easily accessable for each bed space for easy charging of electronics. FYI, the toilet/bathroom is on the ground floor and the bedrooms are upstairs."

"The man on reception was super helpful. We were able to leave our luggage after we checked out until we had to get our train. This is on the quieter part of the lake, but that's what we wanted. We didn't take the breakfast option. "
